Today has been the wildest day in politics in decades.
On Thursday afternoon, President Trump and Elon Musk got into a huge blow-up.
It all started when, while answering a reporter’s questions on Thursday afternoon, Trump was asked what he thinks about Elon Musk pushing for lawmakers to end the Big Beautiful Bill.
Trump told the press, “Elon and I had a great relationship. I don’t know if we will anymore. I was surprised.”
Watch here:
TRUMP ON MUSK: “You saw a man who was very happy when he stood behind the Oval desk, even with a black eye. I said, ‘do you want a little makeup?’ He said, ‘No, I don’t think so,’ which is interesting.”

Musk quickly responded to Trump’s remarks in a barage of posts on X and called Trump ungrateful.
Take a look;
Such ingratitude

Musk later claimed Trump was in the Epstein Files:
Time to drop the really big bomb:@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public.
Have a nice day, DJT!

Now that the smoke has settled, Vice President JD Vance has made his first statement since the feud began.
Vance, on a post on X, jokingly wrote, “Slow news day, what are we even going to talk about? @TheoVon.”
His statement was coupled with a picture of him with comedian Theo Von who he was interviewed by.

It’s good to see Vance joke on such a tense day.
However, jokes won’t delay the fact that he will have to publicly pick a side, which may cause Musk not to offer any support to him in his 2028 presidential run.
Musk has already signaled to lawmakers that they must take his side on the Big Beautiful Bill issue if they want future support.
Oh and some food for thought as they ponder this question: Trump has 3.5 years left as President, but I will be around for 40+ years …
