During an appearance on California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s podcast, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz boasted violent rhetoric against those who disagree with him on political issues.
The Democratic governors discussed potential strategies to win back voters after a humiliating defeat in 2024.
“We cannot continue to be on the defense reacting to this,” Newsom said.
“We’ve got to go on the offense. We got to meet people where they are,” he continued.
“You got to respect people you disagree with,” Newsom stated.
“You can’t just dismiss people,” he added.
“How do you fight it?” Walz blurted.
“I think I could kick most of their a**,” the Minnesota governor exclaimed.
“I do think that,” he added.
“But I don’t know, if we’re going to fall into that place where we want to, okay, we challenge you to a, you know, a WWE fight here type of thing,” Walz continued.
Newsom laughed off Walz’s comments.

From The Washington Free Beacon:
Minnesota governor Tim Walz (D.) accused Republicans of misogyny for questioning his masculinity during his 2024 vice presidential run.
“We buy their frame on these issues of sexuality, you know, but their whole thing was is that they spent all their time, these guys on Fox News, [saying] that ‘Walz is gay, he’s not masculine, you know, he doesn’t coach football the way he should,’” Walz told California governor Gavin Newsom (D.) Tuesday on Newsom’s podcast. “There’s misogyny in here that’s happening.”
“Not that I spend much time thinking about this, and it just baffled me how much time they spent trying to attack me, that I wasn’t, like, masculine enough in their vision,” Walz said before detailing criticisms of his masculinity.
“I saw Fox News did, like, a couple days because I used a straw, and I’m, like, ‘H***, man, what am I—how else do you drink a milkshake?’ type of thing. But they focused on it obsessively, which I think again is their obsession, their weirdness,” Walz continued.
Fox News’s Jesse Watters questioned Walz’s masculinity over the Minnesota governor’s straw use.

Per Daily Caller:
Walz also received considerable backlash after appearing to struggle to load a semi-automatic shotgun in a video posted online during his pheasant-hunting trip while campaigning in October.
The governor signed a slew of liberal legislation since taking office in 2018, including a May 2023 law requiring Minnesota schools to provide tampons in both girls’ and boys’ restrooms, which prompted President Donald Trump and others to refer to him as “Tampon Tim.”
Walz launched a town hall tour in red districts across the U.S. in March, stating that he intends to “lend a megaphone” to Americans. He told The New Yorker in a March 2 interview that he would consider launching his own 2028 presidential bid if the conditions and his “skill set” were right.
