The home of NFL quarterback Joe Burrow was broken into while the Cincinnati Bengals played the Dallas Cowboys on “Monday Night Football.”

According to reports, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Olivia Ponton called 911 to report the burglary.

“Joe Burrow’s house was broken into while he was playing MNF. A bedroom window was broken and the room was ‘ransacked,’” Bleacher Report wrote.

“This comes after the NFL alerted teams last month that there was a growing trend of burglars targeting NFL and NBA athletes,” it added.

Per TMZ:

In the documents, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office wrote Ponton called in the break-in at around 8:14 PM — as 28-year-old Burrow was in the middle of his “Monday Night Football” clash with the Dallas Cowboys in Texas.

Ponton, the docs state, told officers that when she pulled up to the Cincinnati-area residence, she noticed a “shattered bedroom window and the room ransacked.” According to the report, Ponton phoned her mother, who then called in the matter to cops.

Police audio reveals Olivia’s mom, Diane, told dispatch on the call, “[Olivia] is wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should be going outside.” Ponton herself later could be heard in a separate call adding, “Someone broke into my house … It’s like completely messed up.”

From the New York Post:

An investigation into the incident remains ongoing, though it marks at least the third star NFLer to have their house broken into during a game.

It comes on the heels of break-ins at Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes’ homes that led the NFL to send a memo to players and teams that they may be targets.

A South American crime ring is reportedly believed to be at the center of the Chiefs stars’ incidents.

Ponton called her mother, Diane, who called 911, as well.

“My daughter is there, this is Joe Burrow’s house. She is staying there, he’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding or if she should be going outside,” she said.

It is unknown if anything was taken from Burrow’s house.

The relationship between Ponton and Burrow, 28, is not known, though Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office documents state the influencer is “employed” by the QB.
