Many Americans were skeptical from the start, but after evidence showed that COVID-19 shots werenโ€™t effective and might even be dangerous, a growing number of people swore off the so-called vaccines entirely.

Now, even former Fox News Channel host Megyn Kelly, who was a vocal advocate for the jabs back in 2021, admits she shouldnโ€™t have gotten hers. She recently speculated that sheโ€™s paying the price for that mistake with a serious toll on her health.

As the Daily Wire reported:

Kelly, 52, has long been outspoken about her opposition to vaccine requirements for children, but she decided it would be best to get the shot herself. The conservative commentator said Wednesday that she realized it was a mistake to get the COVID shots after talking to her doctor when she tested positive for an autoimmune issue at her annual physical.

โ€œI regret getting the vaccine even though I am a 52-year-old woman because I donโ€™t think I needed it,โ€ Kelly said. โ€œI think I would have been fine. Iโ€™ve gotten COVID many times and it was well past when the vaccine was doing what it was supposed to be doing.โ€

โ€œI went to the best Rheumatologist in New York, and I asked her, do you think this could have to do with the fact that I got the damn booster and then got COVID within three weeks? And she said โ€˜yes.โ€™ Yes,โ€ Kelly continued. โ€œI wasnโ€™t the only one sheโ€™d seen that with.โ€

Her remarks attracted praise from a number of social media users:

Despite all the evidence to the contrary, the Biden administration canโ€™t help but push for another round of shots for the American people. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre recently urged people to run out and get yet another jab, claiming with a straight face that it is an effective way to protect against the virus.

As the Washington Examiner:

Reports of increased COVID-19 cases have dominated the news cycle, and it looks like the Biden administration has learned nothing from the pandemic. For example, look no further than the recent comments of White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre. During a recent briefing, she commented about the reliability of COVID-19 vaccines.

โ€œWe know that these vaccines work, right?โ€ Jean-Pierre said. โ€œWe know when people stay up to date with their vaccine, that works.โ€

Except, that statement is not true. Despite the long list of evidence to the contrary, including admissions from officials such as Dr. Deborah Birx, that the vaccines were โ€œoverplayed.โ€ Recall Birxโ€™s statements from August 2022.

During an interview on Your World with Neil Cavuto, Birx said:

โ€œI knew these vaccines were not going to protect against infection,โ€ Birx said. โ€œAnd I think we overplayed the vaccines, and it made people then worry that itโ€™s not going to protect against severe disease and hospitalization. It will. But letโ€™s be very clear: 50% of the people who died from the omicron surge were older, vaccinated.โ€

She once again heralded the latest version of the โ€œvaccineโ€ after trying to assure reporters that Joe Bidenโ€™s coughing spell after his wife tested positive for COVID-19 was actually no big deal. Hereโ€™s a clip:
