The ‘ladies’ of The View are known for their daily anti-Trump rhetoric — and outright lies.

So much so that they’ve recently had to stop the show on multiple occasions in order to read LEGAL MEMOS handed to them by Producers, in an attempt to avoid slander and liable lawsuits.

But they just got another dose of reality that might hit harder than simply swallowing their pride to read a little memo from the network’s legal department.

The CEO of Disney and the President of ABC News, concerned with waning ratings and a constant negative tailspin, are taking things in a different direction.

And the “C” word has reportedly been used in what I can only presume would be a THREAT… if the dear ‘ladies’ don’t heed the new directive from the Corporate High Command.

Reporting on the new directive has attempted to paint it as something OTHER than a “directive”, and thus, no threat implied.

I’m not buying it.  When the CEO tells you such-and-such, it’s not a “but do whatever you like” sort of conversation.

He’s expecting them to acquiesce to the changes he outlined, and he wouldn’t be the CEO of Disney if he was in to issuing unimportant directives.

He’s expecting a change to occur, or else.

Cancel ‘The View’?  Could it really happen?

Plenty of high-and-mighty media personalities have ran aground in previous months for constantly throwing themselves against the dangerous rock that is President Trump.

Why should the vitriolic talking heads of the view fare differently than all the others?

Here’s a clip from just a day ago highlighting both the ANTI-TRUMP slant and the willingness of ‘the ladies’ to twist the facts (LIE…).

And of course they do it under the same pretense as the Democratic leadership — if you don’t accept their twisted version of the facts, you’re a nut job, and you need to be sidelined:

That is daytime American TV proclaiming that the ongoing GENOCIDE in South Africa — which President Trump has taken a stance on — is a (say it with me) C-o-n-s-p-i-r-a-c-y   T-h-e-o-r-y.

New day, same old tune.

But the top dogs at Disney and ABC News aren’t having it.  The ‘ladies’ are running the show in to the ground with their constant attacks against anything related to President Trump.

They were already cautioned to ‘take it easy’ immediately after the election, but now they’ve been given a more firm push.

Less negative politics, more daytime lifestyle pieces — that’s the direction given to ‘the ladies’ from Disney’s higher-ups, according to the New York Post:

Disney CEO Bob Iger and ABC News boss Almin Karamehmedovic have urged the hosts of the left-leaning daytime talk show “The View” to scale back their political commentary, particularly their frequent criticisms of President Trump, according to a report.

The move has sparked tension behind the scenes at the show, whose outspoken panel has become known for tackling political issues head-on, the Daily Beast reported Wednesday.

In February, The Post reported that “The View” executive producer Brian Teta spoke to staffers at the show about “going easy” on Trump-related commentary in the days leading up to the Jan. 20 inauguration — a move that led to tension in front of the cameras.

“The View” co-hosts were being encouraged by their bosses to implement a “balance of the show” and “balance of the topics” and the changes were not “Trump-specific,” according to the source.

Since Trump’s return to the White House following the 2024 election, the co-hosts of “The View” — Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro — have maintained a steady stream of commentary aimed at the administration’s policies and rhetoric.

But top executives at Disney, including Iger and Karamehmedovic, are reportedly looking to shift the show’s tone.

Karamehmedovic reportedly met recently with the hosts and Teta to suggest a broader, less politically driven agenda.

One source familiar with the meeting said the hosts, particularly Navarro, pushed back, arguing that viewers expect “The View” to provide strong political commentary — especially during such a volatile political climate.

“This is what our audience wants,” the source said, paraphrasing the group’s response. “Isn’t it gonna look kind of bad if we’re all of a sudden not talking about politics?”

The funny thing is that ‘the ladies’ primary avenue of pushback against that order from on high is based on their belief that the audience WANTS TO HEAR their political rhetoric.

You see, they see themselves as a NEWS SOURCE, rather than the daytime variety commentary show they are.

Here’s Whoopi giving excuses about why SHE pretended Joe Biden was doing just peachy, all the while pretending to be a legitimate news outlet.

You be the judge:

Here’s the full screen version of that video… just in case you want to watch it a few times.

(Isn’t it amazing how all the left-leaning media and celebrity talking heads want to point the finger at EVERYONE ELSE for not speaking up about Biden’s incapacity?) :

Even here at WLT-Report, we take a certain amount of liberty knowing that our audience is primarily pro-Trump, anti-woke-crap, and conservative; mostly folks with a Christian worldview who share our general mindset about things.

We throw in a good amount of seasoning and spice it up, while trying to stay a little more ENTERTAINING and fun than most of the dry lamestream.

But you can only get away with that, and still call yourself a legitimate source of NEWS… if you actually bring THE NEWS in a factual way.

Whoopi Goldberg is, and has always been, and entertainer — period.

Salacious.  Sensational.  Purposefully polarizing, while feigning a monopoly on commonsense.

And ‘The View’ as a whole is entertainment as well.  And — that’s fine, if that’s your cup of tea.

But good Lord, don’t come at Americans at this point in the game with a stream of progressive soundbites that land even farther left than most of the mainstream, and pretend you’re legit news, with some sense of DUTY to cover politics from your twisted angles.

Here’s a NEWS flash for ‘the ladies’ of The View: you’re all junior league celebs, and no one really cares what you think.

No one even cares what “I” think — except… that we bring the actual NEWS.

Factual, as-is, the good… bad… and ugly.

(Stepping off my soapbox — thanks for bearing with me.)

But it doesn’t sound like ‘the ladies’ are taking that news well, even coming straight from the CEO.

And one of them is taking it less well than the others.

Sources familiar with a conversation between Ana Navarro and Disney CEO Bob Iger have characterized Navarro as dismissive of the new direction, according to details of the conversation as reported in the Daily Beast:

One source familiar with the meeting characterized the hosts as telling their boss, “‘This is what our audience wants. Isn’t it gonna look kind of bad if we’re all of a sudden not talking about politics?’”

Ultimately, the women found the requests “silly” and that “they were just going to keep doing their thing.”

Still, the conversation continued to stay at top of mind for at least one of the co-hosts. During Disney’s Upfront presentation day to advertisers last week, an annual glitzy gathering where media companies seek to woo brands to advertise with their shows, Navarro had a direct conversation with Iger, according to multiple sources.

Navarro thanked Iger for allowing the hosts to continue doing their jobs in a politically turbulent environment, the sources said. Iger confirmed he supported the show—but he also reaffirmed that the show needed to tone down its political rhetoric, the sources said.

The conversation made clear the suggestion to tone down the politics went all the way to the top, the sources said.

I began this story with a question: why should ‘the ladies’ of The View be immune to the pushback against their never-ending political attacks, when far more serious media personalities have bit the dust in the wake of President Trump’s passing?

It remains to be seen if ‘the ladies’ will heed Disney and ABC News’ warnings, or if the networks will be forced to take more drastic measures to shore up what small piece of viewership they have left.

Time and time again we’ve watched left-leaning personalities get sidelined by the unexpected reality that THINGS HAVE CHANGED.

So far, ‘the ladies’ of The View don’t seem to have received that memo.

The next memo… could be legally binding.  I wonder if it’ll be pink?
