BREAKING NEWS:: Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ lawyer says the rapper “can’t wait” to testify in his upcoming trial against which could lead to him snitching on higher ups that are involved.

‘I don’t know that I could keep him off the stand. I think he is very eager to tell his story. And I think he will tell every part of his story,’ Agnifilo said

‘He has his story, and he has a story that I think only he can tell in the way he can tell it, in real time,’ he said. ‘It’s a human story. It’s a story of love. It’s a story of hurt. It’s a story of heartbreak.’

Huge news in the Diddy criminal case … he’s chomping at the bit to defend himself in a federal courtroom … and he will take the witness stand to tell his story.

Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, appears in a new TMZ Studios documentary — “The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment” — which is dropping soon on Tubi … and he tells us Diddy can’t wait to testify in court.

It’s a risky move … Diddy’s going to be able to tell his side of things, but he’s also going to be cross-examined … and obvious topics include the Cassie beating video, the famous “freak off” parties and accusations he blew up a car belonging to one of Cassie’s exes.

Agnifilo acknowledges the gamble here, but tells us there’s no one better to defend Diddy than Diddy himself.

The lawyer says Diddy’s story involves love, hurt and heartbreak.

Sean “Diddy” Combs can’t wait to testify in his upcoming trial, according to his attorney.

On Thursday, September 26, TMZ shared an interesting tidbit from its brand-new documentary The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment. In a new teaser, Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo reveals that his client will take the witness stand during the trial for his criminal case.

“I think he is very eager to tell his story,” Agnifilo says. “I think he will tell every part of his story including what you see on the [Cassie] video. I expect it’s going to be explained by the both of us.”

By taking the stand, Combs will get to defend himself against the various charges against him, however, he’ll also open the door to cross-examination from the State. Prosecutors are prepared to bring up the litany of lawsuits Combs is currently facing as well as the one he settled with his ex-girlfriend Cassandra “Cassie” Ventura. The prosecution might also enter the horrific video of Combs beating up Ventura at a hotel in Los Angeles as evidence. Agnifilo acknowledges the risky move, but claims Combs is the only who can share his story full of love, hurt and heartbreak.

“He has his story and he has a story that I think only he can tell in the way he can tell it in real-time,” Agnifilo adds.

Combs is currently awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. As of this report, a trial date has not been confirmed. The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment will air on Tubi on Thursday night. Watch another clip from the documentary below.

The only question now is whether he is simply taking the stand in his own defense?

Or has he cut a deal that involves him turning on everyone else?
