Harvey Levin, the founder of TMZ, revealed that there has been new “activity” in the Bitcoin account linked to one of the ransom notes sent by the suspect believed to be responsible for Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance.

During an interview with CNN‘s Erin Burnett on Tuesday, Levin said this marks the first time any movement has been detected in the account provided to the Guthrie family.

He did not disclose the nature of the “activity.”

Arizona’s KGUN 9, another media outlet that received the initial ransom notes, reported that less than $300 has been put into the account.

This is a breaking story. Check back for updates.
