(Reuters) – American Airlines Group Inc and JetBlue Airways Corp stated on Thursday they are releasing the first phase of their partnership with codeshares on almost 80 paths from New york city and Boston.
The joint statement came even as the U.S. Department of Justice and chief law officers in New york city, Massachusetts and other jurisdictions continue to evaluate the proposed tie-up.
“American and JetBlue intend to cooperate with those investigations, but are proceeding with plans to implement this alliance,” American stated on Wednesday.
