Wendy Williams has been seen for the first time since claims arose that she is “permanently incapacitated” due to early-onset dementia.

The former daytime TV host, 60, was spotted smiling in the back seat of an SUV as she picked up a to-go order from Sho’nuff Oysters in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Sunday. Video of Williams sitting in the vehicle outside of the restaurant was posted by blogger Antoine Edwards.

The star was accompanied by her nephew Travis Finnie, according to Edwards.

“How you doin’?” Williams says in the clip, quoting her signature catchphrase.

The sighting came a little over a month after William’s legal guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, declared that Williams “has become cognitively impaired and permanently incapacitated” as a result of early-onset dementia.

Morrissey’s shocking claim was recorded in a Nov. 12 court filing in support of her lawsuit against A+E Networks. Morrissey has alleged the cable company exploited Williams in the Lifetime docuseries “Where Is Wendy Williams?” (Lifetime is a subsidiary of A+E).

Morrissey previously attempted and failed to block the release of the four-part doc, which aired in February and detailed Williams’ battle with addiction and financial difficulties.

The “Wendy Williams Show” host was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia after the docuseries had wrapped, though she allegedly displayed symptoms of the condition — which includes memory loss — from the outset of filming,

Morrissey has claimed that the “Where Is Wendy Williams?” producers “intentionally manipulated and goaded” the star “to trigger strong emotional reactions and acquire embarrassing footage.”

William’s legal guardian has also alleged that the TV personality was paid only $82,000 to participate in the series, whereas the doc’s producers earned millions.

In her lawsuit, Morrissey has demanded that A+E provide Williams additional compensation and has asked a judge to redact “sensitive” information about Williams’ “health, familial relationships, and finances” to protect her privacy.

A+E Networks is fighting the suit, accusing Morrissey of negligence. According to A+E, Morrissey didn’t “protect” Williams and permitted her to take part in the docuseries “without checking in on her.”

Morrissey’s lawyer responded to the allegations by claiming Morrissey was unaware Williams had signed a filming agreement until seven months into production.

In a statement, the lawyer insisted that “none of the defendants ever gained the guardian’s consent for [Williams’] participation to be filmed.”

Williams has been under a court-ordered guardianship that oversees her health and finances since 2022 after her bank, Wells Fargo, alleged she was “incapacitated.”
