Wendy Williams is making moves in her battle to end her guardianship.
The former “Wendy Williams Show” host, 60, reportedly fired her court-appointed attorney, Linda Redlisky, on Wednesday.
Sources told TMZ that Redlisky got the pink slip after the attorney allegedly failed to file paperwork for a trial about whether Williams’ guardianship was necessary when the TV star asked her to do so.
The Post reached out to Williams’ reps for comment.
The move comes after Williams broke down crying about her health and court-ordered guardianship in a rare interview with Charlamagne tha God earlier this month.
During the chat, she revealed she’s living in a New York City wellness facility that she claimed was more like a luxury prison.
“My life is f–ked up,” she said during the interview on January 16. “I feel like I’m in prison. I’m definitely isolated. I keep the door closed, I watch TV, listen to the radio and look out the window. Sit here as my life goes by.”
Williams also claimed she’s “not cognitively impaired,” despite her “care team” announcing she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasia in 2023.
The ex-talk show host made headlines when she alleged she only had “$15” to her name and had no access to the internet at the facility.
“This is what is called emotional abuse,” she quipped on “The Breakfast Club.”
Williams’ niece, Alex Finnie, was also on the line to fiercely defend her aunt’s mental state.
“Anybody that knows my aunt knows she’s always been a unique personality,” said Finnie. “How she’s talking, that’s her. That’s who she is. Don’t try to twist how she is.”
Days after the interview, sources told The Post that Williams believes her court-appointed guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, is taking advantage of her.
Finnie and a family friend started a GoFundMe following the outpouring of fan love after Williams’ interview.
Donations “will directly support Wendy’s legal efforts and cover essential costs associated with her case,” the fundraising page read.
The money will be used for things like “retaining experienced legal counsel specialized in guardianship,” “covering the costs associated with filing necessary legal documents and motions to challenge the guardianship,” and “engaging medical and psychological experts to provide testimony and evaluations that support Wendy’s case for independence.”
As of this post, Williams’ GoFundMe has collected more than $44k of its $50k goal.
