The show must go on.
Scott Shriner performed with his band Weezer at Coachella on Saturday, just days after his wife, Jillian Shriner, was shot by police and arrested for attempted murder.
According to the LA Times, Scott, 59, walked on stage at the Mojave tent and pumped his fist as he drew a huge round of cheers from the thousands of people in the crowd.
Shriner, frontman Rivers Cuomo, drummer Patrick Wilson and keyboardist Brian Bell performed several of the band’s biggest hits including “Island in the Sun”, “Beverly Hills,” “Hash Pipe” and “Perfect Situation.” They also did a cover of Metallica’s “Enter Sandman.”
Nobody on stage addressed the incident involving Scott’s wife.
Two days before the performance, Scott was walking his dogs outside his Los Angeles home and exclusively told The Post of Jillian, “She’s alright, thank you for asking.”
“See you at Coachella!” the musician added.
Last Wednesday, cops were chasing down three men from a hit-and-run that took place earlier on the nearby freeway when they spotted Jillian, 51, on the porch of her home in in the LA neighborhood of Eagle Rock. She was armed with a 9-mm handgun.
After the police repeatedly ordered Jillian to drop her firearm, she refused. She then pointed her gun directly at the officers and fired at them, the cops alleged.
One of the officers shot at Jillian and struck her in the shoulder.
According to police, she retreated inside her residence and then came back outside with the family’s babysitter.
Aerial footage captured by KTLA’s news choppers showed Jillian walking down her driveway with her hands in the air to surrender to cops after being shot. She was then transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Jillian was released after posting a $1 million bond Wednesday night, records show. Her next court hearing is set for April 30.
The rocker’s wife is the author of two memoirs including 2010’s “Some Girls: My Life in a Harem,” where she opened up about being employed as a “girlfriend” of Prince Jefri Bolkiah.
Jillian shares two adopted sons, Tariku and Jovanni, with Scott, whom she’s been married to since 2005.
Weeks before the shooting and arrest, Jillian underwent treatment for cancer.
“I’d like to thank the Academy, my amazing hair and makeup team, and the lighting designers here at #glendaleadventisthospital,” she wrote via Instagram on March 4, alongside a photo of herself in a hospital bed.
In a follow-up post later that month, the author dove deeper into what she went through during her cancer journey.
“Three weeks now. Two back to back surgeries including a full hysterectomy,” she penned. “I feel called upon to mention it, because i know only two people who had this procedure and neither is with us today. They weren’t here for me to call, and ask what to expect. I’m saying: I’m here. Ask me. I’m okay and healing today.”
Jillian also gave a special shout-out to her “family, who supports me” and tagged her husband.
