Joe Alwyn is shaking it off and stepping outside.
The actor, 34, was spotted for the first time since his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, 35, got engaged to Travis Kelce, also 35.
Alwyn walked the streets of London on Wednesday, rocking a blue striped sweater, jeans, a matching hat and sneakers — possibly reflecting his mood after learning the news.
He was seen with a friend, and the two chatted as they strolled down the road.
Alwyn and Swift dated for six years from 2017 to 2023 after first crossing paths at the 2016 Met Gala.
The exes kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight, with Swift living in London with Alwyn.
In 2018, the “Hamnet” star briefly touched on their romance in an interview with British Vogue and shared why he didn’t want to discuss it.
“I’m aware people want to know about that side of things,” Alwyn explained. “I think we have been successfully very private and that has now sunk in for people … but I really prefer to talk about work.”
Soon after, he confirmed his desires to Total Film.
“For me, I just don’t feel it’s something I want to offer up to be picked apart by people who don’t know about it, and it’s just not theirs to have,” Alwyn elaborated.
A year later, Swift echoed his sentiments.
“I’ve learned that if I do, people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion,” the songstress admitted to The Guardian in August 2019. “If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it — but it’s just that it goes out into the world.”
Swift added, “That’s where the boundary is, and that’s where my life has become manageable. I really want to keep it feeling manageable.”
The two also collaborated on Swift’s albums, with Alwyn writing under the pseudonym William Bowery.
The Grammy winner addressed the engagement speculation between her and Alwyn on the song “Lavender Haze” in 2022.
“I’m damned if I do give a damn what people say/ the 1950s s–t they want from me/ I just wanna stay in that lavender haze,” Swift sang, clarifying they were not engaged. “All they keep asking me is if I’m gonna be your bride/ the only kinda girl they see is a one night or a wife.”
Swift and Alwyn called it quits in 2023 while the performer was on her sold-out Eras tour.
At the time, an insider told People that the couple broke up due to “differences in their personalities.”
The source said Alwyn and Swift learned they “weren’t the right fit for one another” after emerging from their pandemic “bubble.”
“They had plenty in common and fell in love in a safe bubble while she was retreating from the world during ‘Reputation,’” they continued. “Then, the pandemic hit, and they were locked down together and able to continue growing their relationship in this insulated way. But he didn’t really ‘know’ her yet outside of that bubble.”
Months later, Swift struck up a romance with Kelce. They went public with their relationship in September 2023.
The tight end revealed he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it at one of her Eras Tour stops.
Despite being unsuccessful, Kelce shared his interest in the pop star on his “New Heights” podcast, and they started seeing each other shortly after.
Now, the couple is set to be married.
Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Tuesday.
“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” she wrote alongside multiple pictures from their engagement shoot.
Another shot showed off Swift’s dazzling engagement ring, which Page Six reported is an old mine brilliant-cut diamond in a gold bezel setting that the NFL star designed himself.
Following their post, Kelce’s dad, Ed, shared how his son popped the question.
“He got her out there, they were about to go out to dinner, and he said, ‘Let’s go out and have a glass of wine,’ … they got out there, and that’s when he asked her, and it was beautiful,” the 74-year-old told local outlet ABC 5 Cleveland.
Ed then received a call from Kelce with the good news.
“I got a FaceTime call from them, and as soon as I saw the FaceTime, I saw it was Travis, and then I saw Taylor there with him, I knew what they were going to say, and they, you know, let us know,” he continued.
“They started FaceTiming me and their mother and her folks to make sure everybody knew. So, to see them together is great.”
