Yo, Adrian!
Sylvester Stallone is still working out and training at 79, even if it isn’t as easy as it once was for the iconic actor and bodybuilder.
“I haven’t done a video from the gym in a long time,” the “Rocky” star laughed while showing off his buff physique in an Instagram video on Sunday. “In a way, it’s kind of like a sanctuary, a church.”
“We pray to get better, to feel better physically, so you have the strength to arrive at your goals, really confident and ready to face any challenge,” Stallone added before signing off. “Keep punching, see you soon.”
The “Rambo” star went on to touch upon how it gets “harder” to work out and train as time passes in the caption of his inspiring clip.
“Every year it gets harder and harder, but that’s why you gotta push harder and harder,” he wrote. “Blood sweat and tears.”
Stallone’s fans, meanwhile, rushed to the comments section to express their surprise at the “Creed” star’s toned look despite approaching 80.
“The perfect Sunday motivation from The Stallion himself!” one person wrote.
“We’d be lucky to look like Sly at his age,” added another.
“A living legend! Exactly the motivation we needed to hear today,” commented a third fan, while a fourth shared, “The person who ignited the spark in me to make fitness my passion 40 years ago…and now STILL inspiring me to never turn back.”
Stallone previously took to Instagram in October to cheer on Anthony Ippolito, the 26-year-old actor portraying Stallone in the forthcoming “I Play Rocky” biopic.
“The movie ‘I play Rocky’ started filming Friday,” the “Tulsa King” star wrote alongside a photo of Ippolito running on a beach. “Good luck to them – keep punching!!!”
More recently, Stallone opened up about the success of “Rocky and how he was still left feeling “very sad” despite the film winning three Oscars at the Academy Awards in 1977.
The “Expendables” star explained that his parents declined to attend the star-studded awards ceremony and weren’t there to see “Rocky” win for Best Picture, Best Director and Best Film Editing.
“You want people that you love that denied you – now you’re here, you’re at the Oscars, and they don’t want to go,” Stallone said during an emotional interview with CBS News last month.
“You realize that, at that moment, you’re never going to come to terms with this,” he continued. “And it’s like, what more do you need? Really, what f–king more do you need to do to say, ‘I’m here. I did this.’”
Stallone, who recently left California for Florida with his wife Jennifer Flavin, also made headlines last month when he was one of the five recipients celebrated at the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors.
The Hollywood icon was named a recipient in August.
He opened up about what the honor meant to him during a chat with Fox News Digital shortly after the names were announced.
“When you get this Kennedy Center honor, it’s just something I still, at this age, can’t fathom that you actually get a prize for what you do that you would do for free,” he told the outlet in September. “You know what I mean?”
“I’ve been so lucky. I’ve been blessed, everything.” Stallone added. “And on top of that, you’re gonna give me a chocolate sundae? Come on. Jesus.”
