Marcello Hernández loves a bit.
The “Saturday Night Live” star, 28, sparked rumors that he got married to his architect girlfriend, Ana Amelia Batlle Cabral, by sharing an Instagram video on Tuesday that showed him preparing for a wedding.
In the black-and-white clip, Hernández got dressed in a tuxedo with the help of his mom, Isabel Cancela, and popped champagne with his apparent groomsmen.
Hernández’s video sparked confusion with fans, who questioned if he and Cabral tied the knot.
“Did he just hard launch his marriage???” one fan wrote.
“Did my Internet husband go and marry someone else?” another fan asked.
“I’m so confused sir is this for critics choice or marriage?” a different person said.
But Hernández seemingly shut down the wedding speculation with a follow-up video on Wednesday that revealed the original clip was a promo for his new comedy special, “Marcello Hernández: American Boy.”
In the second video, Hernández is standing in a church wearing a tuxedo, appearing emotional as he’s presumably looking at his “bride.”
But the video then revealed that Hernández is actually looking at a poster for his comedy special, which premiered on Netflix on Wednesday.
“Hello, everyone, my name is Marcello Hernández, and my special is out now on Netflix,” Hernández said in the clip.
Hernández’s mom is then shown wiping her tears with a tissue in the church.
The Post has reached out to Hernández’s rep for comment.
Hernández went public with his relationship with Cabral last year. Cabral got her master’s degree in architecture from Yale and co-founded the design company BATLLE + sig.
The couple has attended multiple public events together, including a Met Gala afterparty, the “Happy Gilmore 2” premiere, and Heidi Klum’s Halloween party, where they dressed as Gomez and Morticia Addams.
Hernández joined the cast of “SNL” as a featured player for Season 48 in 2022. He was promoted to repertory status for Season 50 in 2024.
During a recent interview with E! News on the Critics Choice Awards 2026 red carpet, Hernández confirmed he has no plans to leave the show soon.
“I’m there, I’m there, I’m there,” he said. “I’m having fun, bro. It’s a crazy job and you get to meet so many crazy people—and I love it.”
