At least one “Saturday Night Live” star seems to be sticking around for Season 51.
After former “SNL” cast member Michael Longfellow took to Instagram on Thursday, Aug. 28, to confirm his exit from the hit sketch comedy show, Chloe Fineman commented to bid him farewell.
However, the comedian also appeared to confirm that she will be returning to Studio 8H when the new season kicks off Oct. 4.
“Will miss ur sleepy ass at pre-tapes,” Fineman, 37, wrote to Longfellow, 31, alongside several heartbreak emojis.
If true, this would mark the first “SNL” star to confirm their return amid a shocking cast exodus that has already seen four cast members depart over the course of the past few days.
Devon Walker, who joined the beloved show as a featured player in 2022 before being promoted to the main cast in 2024, was the first to announce his departure in a lengthy Instagram post Monday night.
“Me and the show did three years together, and sometimes it was really cool,” Walker, 34, wrote. “Sometimes it was toxic as hell. But we … made the most of what it was, even amidst all of the dysfunction. We made a f–ked up lil family.”
Emil Wakim, a newcomer who was only on the show for one season, followed Walker and revealed his exit in a statement on Wednesday. He said it “was a gut punch of a call to get.”
“It was the most terrifying, thrilling, and rewarding experience of my life,” Wakim, 27, added, “and I will miss it dearly and all the brilliant people that work there that made it feel like a home.”
Shortly after The Post confirmed Longfellow’s departure on Thursday afternoon, the comic took to social media to break his silence.
“Will not be returning for a 4th season at SNL,” he began the lengthy Instagram post. “Wish I was but, so it goes.”
“It was the best three years of my life so far,” Longfellow added alongside a carousel of photos from his time on the show.
But perhaps the most surprising departure so far ahead of Season 51 is Heidi Gardner, who, as of last year, was the longest-tenured woman on the show.
She joined the NBC sketch comedy during Season 43 as a featured player and was promoted to the main cast in 2019, marking eight seasons on the program.
Although The Post confirmed Gardner would not be returning, she has yet to address her exit.
Two “SNL” writers, meanwhile, have also announced their departures ahead of the new season.
Celeste Yim, who joined the “grueling” program five years ago, confirmed the news on Sunday, Aug. 24. Rosebud Baker followed suit shortly after.
Still, leaving “SNL” has not ruined everyone’s sense of humor, and Walker made sure to remind fans of that on Thursday when someone expressed disappointment that he and Longfellow were done.
“Yall acting like we died lol we just getting different jobs,” Walker wrote on X.
Lorne Michaels, 80, even teased the shocking cast change during an interview with Puck News published last week.
When asked if he planned to “shake things up” for Season 51, the “SNL” creator replied, “Yes.”
“It’ll be announced in a week or so,” he added at the time.
