We can’t calm down.
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco officially said “I do” in an intimate, star-studded wedding ceremony in Santa Barbara, California, Saturday night.
Gomez, who got engaged to Blanco in December 2024, revealed the matrimonial news on Instagram Saturday with a series of heartfelt photos and videos, captioned “9.27.25.”
The musical newlyweds were photographed lovingly embracing, with Gomez beaming in an elegant custom hand-draped halter-neck satin dress with embroidery, and Blanco sporting a classic black tuxedo and bowtie.
Both were dressed in Ralph Lauren.
A handful of shots showed Gomez clutching her simple lily of the valley bouquet and wedding rings, while one video captured the bride and groom skipping hand-in-hand across a green field, smiling as they glanced back at the camera.
Another video showed Gomez fixing her new husband’s black bow-tie before the pair gazed into each other’s eyes and smooched.
While celebrities flocked to the social media post to congratulate and gush over the blushing bride, Blanco commented: “my wife in real life.”
The couple exchanged vows at the lush Sea Crest Nursery while surrounded by around 170 of their family and friends, according to Vogue.
The star-studded affair included Taylor Swift, Paul Rudd, Ashley Park and Gomez’s “Only Murders in the Building” co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin. Also in attendance were Paris Hilton, Ed Sheeran, Ashley Park, and the bride’s “Wizards of Waverly Place” castmate David Henrie.
Meryl Streep, who not only appeared in the hit Hulu series but is also dating Short, was reportedly invited to the nuptials but pulled out at the last minute, a source told the Daily Mail.
The insider explained that Streep was “planning to attend but told Selena she now won’t be able to.” An exact reason for her disappointing absence was not given.
Gomez’s once-close friend, Nicola Peltz, and her husband, Brooklyn Beckham, would also not be in attendance, an insider told Page Six ahead of the wedding.
Although there were rumors of a fallout, a source close to Peltz and Beckham claimed that the actress is currently in “pre-production for a very rigorous film shoot.”
Guests stayed at the $3,500-a-night El Encanto hotel, where Martin and Short were photographed Friday ahead of the happy couple’s rehearsal dinner. The pair rented the luxury retreat, owned by Tinder co-founder Justin Mateen.
The rehearsal dinner was held on Friday at a mansion in the private community of Hope Ranch in Santa Barbara County.
Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, got engaged in Dec. 2024 after dating for a year.
“Forever begins now,” Gomez captioned her Instagram post showing off her dazzling diamond engagement ring.
Blanco also commemorated the moment, commenting, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”
Gomez celebrated her bachelorette trip in Aug. in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The “Wizards of Waverly Place” alum shared pics and video from the fun-filled getaway, and she was joined by longtime pals Raquelle Stevens, Ashley Cook and Courtney Lopez.
In March, the singer released her fourth studio album, “I Said I Love You First,” in collaboration with her fiancé
A month prior, Blanco revealed that the surprise engagement almost didn’t go as planned.
“It was the sickest surprise that she had no idea about, and it couldn’t have come at a better time because I was starting to f–k up,” the producer said during a sit-down with Interview magazine in February.
“The thing that makes me so crazy is, you’re getting engaged, and right before, they’re like, ‘Show me how good of a liar you are. Sneak around and try to do this perfect thing without me knowing,’” he continued.
“At the end, she was starting to get upset because she was like, ‘Why aren’t you coming home tonight?’” Blanco added. “And I was like, ‘Oh, I’m just at my friends.’ I almost did it early. But I nailed it, I think.”
Gomez, meanwhile, chimed in about what it was like to work with the love of her life in the studio.
“The fact that he listened to me,” the Rare Beauty founder told the outlet about what she appreciated most about the process. “Sometimes it’s difficult for me to speak up. Most of my anxiety right now is wanting him to speak because I feel like he’s more talented than I am in this field.”
“It’s like working with a great filmmaker,” she continued. “Whether we were together or not, I think he still would’ve listened to everything that I had to say, and he was able to almost transcribe it into music, into what the feeling of what I was talking about should be.”
The “Only Murders in the Building” actress, for her part, told the outlet that their romance began when they “got in the studio to work on a song and we just talked.”
“That’s how easy it was for me,” Gomez recalled. “I liked him before he liked me.”
Blanco said that he “literally didn’t know” Gomez was interested in him.
“We were in the session, and I was like, ‘You should meet some of my friends. I can hook you up with some dates.’ I hadn’t thought about it at all,” he reminisced. “And then we were texting afterwards, and we decided to get dinner the next day.”
“I guess she thought it was a date, and I had no idea it was a date,” he laughed. “The second time we hung out, our second date, I was like, ‘Wait, does she like me?’ I was clueless.”
But following the date, “it was easy” for Blanco to take the next step.
“You know, when you think you’ve met the right person, you’re like, ‘Oh, my God.’ But it feels so different,” he gushed. “The second we started hanging out, I was like, ‘This is my wife.’ I was telling my mom, ‘This is the girl I’m going to marry.’”
