In the Big Apple, expect big drama.
At least, according to “The Real Housewives of New York City” star Erin Lichy, that is.
“I mean, there’s a lot of laughter,” the reality star exclusively told The Post at Warner Brothers’ Fall TV Season Celebration about the new season. “There are some hilarious parts, but there’s some parts of, like, serious friendship breakdown and hopefully rebuilding.”
Racquel Chevremont echoed her co-star’s sentiments, adding, “It’s intense.”
The newest wife on the block also shared how coming into the group for Season 15 has been. “I’m feeling great,” Chevremont said. “Ask me in a couple of weeks, though!”
As for what it’s like to watch her relationship with her fiancée, Mel, play out on television? “It’s kind of crazy,” the mom-of-two confessed. “We do watch it together. She’s horrified half the time. She just is not used to seeing herself on camera.”
Meanwhile, going forward, fans may not hear much from Lichy publicly.
“Last night was so special!!” she wrote on Instagram after her “Watch What Happens Live” appearance on Oct. 8. “Though distraction has been somewhat healing, I’ve been taking a step back from public appearances. But when I was asked to come onto WWHL with my mom in audience to support breast cancer awareness month, knowing everyone in the audience would be a survivor, I was honored to wear pink and support.”
Earlier this month, the New Yorker revealed her father passed away in a heartbreaking tribute on social media.
“My heart and soul,” Lichy began her post. “My best friend, my courage, my strength, my superpower. How grateful I feel to have had you as a parent to guide me, to uplift me, to teach me how to live life to the absolute fullest. Your generosity is unmatched and I have learned not only how many people you helped silently but what a lasting impression your kindness left.”
She added, in part, “Knowing I won’t see you laugh again or sing to me on the opposite end of the phone is a heartbreak I did not know existed, but somehow I know you are still there. You have given me the greatest gift and I cannot feel anything but sincerely grateful to you for being my father. I love you forever my Abba, my angel.”
Viewers are also watching Lichy navigate her mother Dorothy’s breast cancer diagnosis in the current season – which the housewife has recently revealed Dorothy beat.
“The battle is not over but we’re at the finish line,” Lichy shared in an emotional social media post in August. “Feeling grateful is an understatement. Sending love to anyone who has been affected by breast cancer- either directly or indirectly. It’s not easy either way but turn to your community and you will find what you need in the women around you. My heart is a little bit broken but very full all at once.”
