Mirror, mirror on the wall, is Rachel Zegler making a statement after all?
Thatβs what fans seem to think after she left her βSnow Whiteβ co-star,Β Gal Gadot, out of her Instagram carousel on Friday.
In honor of the live-action Disney remake hitting theaters, Zegler, 23, shared a slew of photos from her time on the set. However, the tribute didnβt mention the βWonder Womanβ actress, 39, who plays the Evil Queen, nor did she appear in any of the posted shots.
βThis movie was a life-changing experience that has held about four years of my career. the growing up you do from the age of twenty (when i was cast) to twenty-three (the age i am now) cannot be accurately described, yet they exist here on film forever,β Zegler began in her lengthy caption.
βI became a real adult during the course of this filmβ learned hard lessons, did hard things, laughed, cried, turned 21, lived across the ocean from my family, made new friends, and completely fell in love with this group of people i got to work with for three magical summers in London,β she wrote.
The βWest Side Storyβ alum noted that along with having βthe greatest crew in the world,β the many images she posted didnβt βeven dig into the fun, the magic, and the love that was shared throughout this process.β
Zegler concluded, ββSnow Whiteβ is now in theaters. itβs a huge chunk of my heart and itβs now yours. i hope you enjoy and feel the magic we were lucky enough to live each day. and remember, youβre the one who can fill the world with sunshine.β
The Post reached out to Zieglerβs rep for comment.
The sweet tribute comes amid the ongoing controversy that has plagued the remake of the 1937 classic for months.
Tensions seem to rise between the two female leads as both have opposite views on the war in Gaza.
Zegler wroteΒ βFree Palestineβ on XΒ after the first trailer for βSnow Whiteβ was released online in December.
Gadot, meanwhile, penned after the Oct. 7 attacks, βMy heart breaks. My country is at war. I worry for my family, my friends. I worry for my people.β
Insiders recently claimed the two stars have βnothing in common.βΒ An unnamed sourceΒ toldΒ PeopleΒ that βtheir political views differ, adding to the tension.β
A second insider added that the two βhave a huge age gap and very different political views.β
Regardless of the lack of connection between Gadot and Zegler, the βFast & Furiousβ vet βenjoyed filming.β
βShe was fine with Rachel, but they are not friends. β¦ They did a job together and thatβs it.β
Before the film went into production, it was leaked that Disney was getting rid of the dwarf characters, opting for βmagical creaturesβ of all sizes and genders.
The studio responded to the buzz by stating they were taking a βdifferent approachβ to βavoid reinforcing stereotypesβ from the 1937 film.
Fans shared their disapproval online, calling the studio too βpolitically correctβΒ and βwoke.β
βGame of Thronesβ actor Peter Dinklage, who has dwarfism,Β also felt it was the wrong move.Β
βLiterally no offense to anyone, but I was a little taken aback [when] they were very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White, but youβre still telling the story ofΒ βSnow White and the Seven Dwarfs,ββ he said while onΒ Marc MaronβsΒ βWTFβ podcastΒ in 2022.
βYouβre progressive in one way but then youβre still making that fβking backward story about seven dwarfs living in a cave together,β Dinklage, 55, said. βWhat the fβk are you doing, man? Have I done nothing to advance the cause from my soapbox? I guess Iβm not loud enough.β
Additionally, some Disney fans vowed to boycott the movie after Zegler lashed out at supporters of President Donald Trump.Β
βI hope you get no peace when this film BOMBS at the box office and streaming,β one person wrote on social media.Β
Due to the controversy, DisneyΒ opted for a low-key premiere in Hollywood, California, over the usual media-packed red carpet events.
Still, Gadot urged fans to give the remake a chance.Β
When asked if people should watch βSnow Whiteβ last week, the actress responded, βOf course β itβs a great movie.β
