Cheers! Prince William has shared some rare insight into what Christmas with the royals looks like.
The Post exclusively revealed last month that the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 42, will mark the festive season with an annual trip to Sandringham, where they will join other members of the royal family.
During his trip to military base camp in Bulford, Wiltshire, William shared some details with soldiers and their families about the Firm’s upcoming plans to celebrate Christmas at King Charles’ sprawling estate.
“We’ll be in Norfolk, at Sandringham,” the future king said during his outing earlier this week, via the Daily Mail. “We’ll be 45 for Christmas. It won’t be quiet, it will be noisy.”
Still, when it comes to preparations, William admitted that he’s far from ready for festivities to commence.
“Am I ready for Christmas? No, no way am I ready,” the future king said.
Each year, all members of the Firm are invited to the late Queen Elizabeth II’s country estate where they celebrate Christmas with a family dinner followed by an afternoon of gift-giving.
While exact details of the celebration are being kept under wraps, it’s expected that the royals will attend mass on Christmas morning at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham — a tradition that takes place each year.
After the morning church service, the family is expected to sit down for their festive meal at 12:45 p.m. And in the evening, the family is expected to change into black-tie attire for a festive soiree.
Two family members will be noticeably absent this year — Prince Harry, 40, and Meghan Markle.
Unsurprisingly, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were snubbed from this year’s royal get-together — marking the sixth year in a row they’ve spent the festive season apart from Harry’s family.
Instead, the Sussexes — along with their two children, Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3 — will reportedly celebrate Christmas with Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, in Montecito, Calif.
Harry and the “Suits” alum, 43, will make their at-home celebrations “extra special” for their two young children, recent reports suggest.
