New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi dated former MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann a decade ago, when he was 55 and she was about 21 years old, Olbermann confirmed to The Post.
“That’s online. It’s public knowledge,” Olbermann said.
He said he had not spoken to her in the last decade and declined to provide details.
“I keep my personal relationships close to the vest,” said the former ESPN anchor.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is reportedly investigating a possible lawsuit around the sexting New York mag writer Nuzzi — who allegedly “bombarded him with increasingly pornographic photos and videos” while tricking him into unblocking her numbers, according to a mutual friend.
Kennedy, 70, has hired security expert Gavin de Becker to probe the saga because he is allegedly pursuing civil — and potentially criminal — litigation against the 31-year-old star political reporter, according to Jessica Read Kraus, who knows them both.
Olbermann dated television reporter Katy Tur from 2006 to 2009 when he was in his 50s and she was in her early 20s.
He dated Nuzzi roughly five years later.
The TV personality who hosts the “Countdown with Keith Olbermann” podcast, has been tweeting about Nuzzi, but not mentioning that they had a relationship until after The Post contacted him on Monday.
“I excuse none of her conduct,” he wrote Sept. 22 on X. He then went on to rip RFK Jr. saying, “He’s an utterly irresponsible pile of s–t.”
He reposted The Post’s Sept. 21 story about how Nuzzi pursued RFK Jr. aggressively.
Olbermann, who has never been married, has quite a dating history.
He says he had three dates with conservative Fox News host Laura Ingraham in 1997, and dated Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema in 2010-11 when she was a state representative.
Olbermann is 17 years older than Sinema.
Nuzzi started dating Olbermann around the time she wrote about her experience as an intern working on Anthony Weiner’s mayoral campaign alleging Weiner referred to her, and other interns, as “Monica” as in Lewinsky.
She wrote for the Not Safe for Work site and then joined the Daily Beast in 2014, the same year she was dating Olbermann, while still reportedly attending Fordham University.
