Eric Stonestreet has officially tied the knot.
On Tuesday, the actor, 54, announced he married his longtime girlfriend Lindsay Schweitzer in a sweet social media post.
“It’s my birthday and guess what I got,” Stonestreet captioned his Instagram post.
The carousel showed the “Modern Family” actor in a suit and tie with Schweitzer in a long, satin, white gown.
Stonestreet and Schweitzer walked hand in hand with the writing over the shot reading: “I GOT MARRIED!”
Other photos showed the husband and wife sharing a kiss, dancing together and the “Identity Thief” star dipping his bride as they smiled for the camera.
Rounding out the images was a picture of Schweitzer holding Stonestreet’s arm with the caption: “The Stonestreets.”
The couple tied the knot at their home in Kansas City, Missouri.
Stonestreet’s on-screen husband Jesse Tyler Ferguson congratulated the couple in the comments section.
The “Modern Family” alum, 49, shared: “Of all second marriages, this one is my favorite! I love you both! I’m so happy for you!!!!😍😍”
Ferguson’s real-life husband, Justin Mikita, also chimed in on the festivities, writing, “Congrats!”
Octavia Spencer added, “Congratulations! So happy for you both.”
Stonestreet and Schweitzer first started dating in 2017 before getting engaged in 2021.
In July, the star got candid on his plans to marry the pediatric nurse.
“Well, I’ve said we’re building a house to host a wedding, and we’re still on track to do that,” Stonestreet told People at the time. “We’re almost done with the house, and that’s been our plan all along.”
“We got engaged and then all of a sudden got an opportunity to build a house, and I thought, no better way to start a relationship than literally building a foundation. So that’s our plan and we’re still on track for that.”
Stonestreet had previously spoken out about his Midwestern life.
In September, while on “In Depth With Graham Bensinger,” Stonestreet revealed he had been “living in Kansas City since ‘Modern Family’ ended basically.”
Stonestreet detailed how leaving his home in Kansas City for gigs in Los Angeles illuminated some of Hollywood’s highs and lows.
“What I realized it does is it highlights everything great about our business, the entertainment business,” he recalled. “And it highlights all the douchebaggery of our business. It amplifies it. Because I’m here, I’m dealing with people from here, and I’m going into the store and having all these authentic, real moments, and then I go to Hollywood, and you’re reminded of some of the types of people that you deal with.”
Stonestreet noted there were some positives, however.
“But then you’re also offered fruit on a big board,” he said. “‘Would you like some lychee and kiwi, sir?’ It’s like, oh, yeah, this is what’s great about Hollywood,” he went on. “So, it’s really fun. It just amplifies it. It’s like, leaving [Kansas City] and going back and doing something is almost more fun than it was living there, doing it.”
