Auntie Serena Williams is in town.
Meghan Markle shared a sweet video of her daughter Princess Lilibet, 3, bonding with the tennis superstar, 43, on her Instagram Stories on Saturday.
In the clip, Lilibet, dressed in a pink shirt and pink and white floral leggings, stood next to Williams as they played a personalized Candy Land board game.
Williams clapped in the video, which was set to the Bill Withers song “Lovely Day.”
“When the aunties comes to celebrate … and to play! Love you @serenawilliams,” Markle, 43, wrote alongside her video.
In a photo on her next IG Story, Markle stood over Lilibet as she watched her daughter and her famous friend play the board game.
“3 days until the party begins. All are invited ❤️ @netflix,” Markle wrote, referencing her upcoming Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan,” that comes out on Tuesday (March 4).
The Duchess of Sussex also shared a black-and-white photo of her and Williams hugging during their cozy hangout session.
Williams reposted the video of her playing with Lilibet on her own IG Stories and added a heart emoji and a smiling face with hearts emoji. Williams also reposted the picture of her embracing Markle.
Markle and Williams have been close friends since meeting at the Super Bowl in 2010. The pro athlete went to Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding in 2018.
Last July, Williams hosted the 2024 ESPY Awards where she poked fun at Markle and Harry, 40, and accused them of overshadowing her appearance.
“Please, Harry and Meghan, try not to breathe too much tonight,” the athlete joked on stage, adding, “This is my night and I don’t want to be overshadowed by accusations you guys are taking up too much oxygen.”
Harry and Markle were seen smiling after Williams made the remarks.
The couple, who also also share son Prince Archie, 5, are gearing up for the release of Markle’s Netflix show, which they produced via their Archewell Productions company.
The series was originally slated to premiere on January 15, however Markle was forced to postpone its release following the devastating Los Angeles fires.
“I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California,” Markle said in a statement in January.
The show’s release is rumored to coincide with the launch of Markle’s new lifestyle brand, As Ever, which was initially called American Riviera Orchard.
Markle shared a rare photo of Lilibet, who was born in 2021, when she unveiled a brand-new website and logo for her business venture last month.
In the image, Markle and her daughter could be seen walking hand in hand in a grassy field, presumably near their Montecito, Calif., home.
