Meghan Markle is back to where she started.
The Duchess of Sussex, 44, has returned to acting seven years after she quit “Suits” and married Prince Harry.
The Sun broke the news Wednesday that Markle is filming a new movie for Amazon MGM Studios in Pasadena, Calif.
Marke is reportedly playing herself in “Close Personal Friends,” which also stars Brie Larson, Lily Collins, Jack Quaid and Henry Golding.
“Meghan was on the set today,” an insider told People on Weds.
“She seemed very relaxed and happy,” the insider continued. “She introduced herself to everyone and was very sweet and down-to-earth.”
But the source did clarify that Markle has a small role in the movie.
Meanwhile, a studio source told The Sun that Markle’s return to acting is a “massive moment” for her “and signifies a return to doing what she truly loves.”
“She has been swamped with offers but this one felt right,” the source claimed. “Everyone involved is super-excited, and have been sworn to secrecy about her involvement.”
The insider also shared that Harry, 41, “is of course, really supportive and quite simply wants Meghan to do whatever brings her joy.”
The Post has reached out to Markle’s rep for comment.
“Close Personal Friends” is being directed by Jason Orley, best known for the 2019 coming-of-age film “Big Time Adolescence” starring Pete Davidson.
The upcoming flick, according to the Hollywood Reporter, centers “on one couple that meets and befriends a celebrity couple while on a trip to Santa Barbara. Personal lines get crossed, among other things, and awkward hilarity ensues.”
Filming began in London in September before moving to California, per THR.
Markle, who was born in LA, made her acting debut in an episode of “General Hospital” in 2002.
After she appeared in films like “Horrible Bosses” and “Remember Me” and served as a briefcase model on “Deal or No Deal,” Markle got her big break playing Rachel Zane in “Suits,” which premiered on USA Network in 2011.
Markle quit the series and acting altogether in 2017 after she got engaged to Harry. Her final “Suits” episode aired in April 2018, one month before the couple’s wedding.
“It’s a new chapter, right?” Markle told BBC at the time about giving up her acting career to join the royal family.
“I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team,” she added.
The couple quit their jobs as senior royals in 2020 and moved to Markle’s home state. They currently live in a $14 million Montecito mansion with their two children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4.
In 2022, Markle told Variety that she was “done” with acting for good.
“I guess never say never, but my intention is to absolutely not,” she said.
