Mandy Moore is clapping back at the critics.
The actress, 40, is responding to those criticizing her for sharing a GoFundMe for her family members who were affected by the Los Angeles fires.
“Yesterday, my brother-in-law and sister-in-law Griff & Kit lost their home and everything they own in the Eaton Fire,” Moore wrote on Instagram. “With their first baby on the way in a matter of weeks, they need our support now more than ever. Griff is a touring musician and also lost his entire arsenal of drums/percussion he uses to make a living. It’s all so much.”
“So many have asked how to help during this unimaginable and stressful time … Please consider donating and sharing to help them rebuild,” she continued, before adding a note to the trolls.
“And people questioning whether we’re helping out our own family or attributing some arbitrary amount of money google says someone has is NOT helpful or empathetic. Of course we are. Our buddy Matt started this go fund me and i’m sharing because people have asked how they can help them. We just lost most of our life in a fire too. Kindly F OFF. no one is forcing you to do anything.”
The crisis in Los Angeles started with the Pacific Palisades fire on Tuesday morning, followed by more fires that sparked in neighboring areas Eaton, Woodley, Hurst and more.
After Moore shared on Wednesday that she had to evacuate with her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, and their three children, sons August, 3, and Oscar, 2, and daughter Louise, 3 months, the singer gave an update on their house on Thursday.
“We were able to park and walk up our street to bear witness to all the loss. Miraculously, the main part of our house is still standing. For now. It’s not livable but mostly intact. We lost Taylor and griffin’s studio with every instrument and piece of equipment they’ve ever owned,” she penned on Instagram. “We lost our garage and back house. Everyone we know lost everything. Every house on our street is gone. My in laws.”
Explaining what happened to her family members who also lived in the area, Moore continued: “My brother and sister in law- 6 weeks from welcoming their first baby. Our best friends. Feeling weird survivors guilt. We love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support. Thanks for everyone for checking on us and offering us help. Altadena strong.”
Many celebrities have lost their homes in the fires including Candy Spelling, Anthony Hopkins, Anna Faris, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Billy Crystal, John Goodman and Paris Hilton.
As the Los Angeles wildfires continue to burn in parts of Southern California, authorities deployed arson investigators to the Pacific Palisades to determine the origin of the blaze.
“The cause of the fire remains unknown, and it continues to be under active investigation,” Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley said on Thursday.
But many celebrities have spoken out and are convinced foul play was the culprit.
“THERE IS an ARSONIST here in LA,” actor Henry Winkler stated on X Wednesday. “May you be beaten you unrecognizable !!! The pain you have caused !!!”
Actress Alison Sweeney replied, writing: “agreed.”
Chris Brown also took to his Instagram Stories on Thursday, writing: “Someone starting these fires. S – – t don’t add up.”
“Dancing with the Stars” pro Peta Murgatroyd retweeted a message that was originally posted by political media personality Xaviaer DuRousseau, that read: “LOS ANGELES / SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA THERE ARE AT LEAST FIVE MEN GOING AROUND IN SKI MASKS STARTING FIRES. KEEP AN EYE OUT.”
But despite the outspoken claims, the Los Angeles Police Department told Fox News Digital on Thursday, “We have not received any reports of arson.”
As of Friday, at least 35,000 acres of land have burned down and at least 10 people have died.
LA County Office of Emergency Management Director Kevin McGowan also issued an apology to millions of residents who woke up to faulty evacuation alerts in the early hours of Friday morning.
“I can’t express how sorry I am enough for this experience,” he told reporters at a press conference.
