Malcolm-Jamal Warner’s wife has spoken out for the first time since the actor’s tragic drowning death on July 20.

Tenisha Warner took to Instagram on Friday, Sept. 12, to remember her late husband one day before what would have been their eighth wedding anniversary.

“Thank you for holding us in so much love during this tender time,” Tenisha began alongside a touching photo from the couple’s 2017 wedding. “Tomorrow marks our anniversary — and my heart is wide open.”

“For the first time, I’m sharing a glimpse of the love that began it all,” she continued. “I can still hear my husband’s laugh, still feel the way he made room for every part of me — every tear, every dream.”

Warner’s widow then announced that she and their daughter were launching a foundation to honor the late “Cosby Show” star’s legacy.

“Today, in his honor, my daughter and I are launching River & Ember and officially opening The Warner Family Foundation,” Tenisha shared. “Together we carry the legacy my husband and I began— one that nurtures children’s inner light and gives young artists the freedom to create outside the lines.”

“This is love, Still moving. Still making. Still carrying us forward,” she concluded the emotional post.

Warner was in Costa Rica when he accidentally drowned while swimming near Cocles after allegedly being caught by a high current on July 20. He was 54.

Costa Rican National Police later told The Post that the “Resident” actor was pulled from the water by people in the area and rushed to shore, where the Costa Rican Red Cross attempted to revive him to no avail.

Warner’s body was taken to the morgue at San Joaquin de Flores for an autopsy, and his cause of death was listed as asphyxiation by “submersion.”

Several of the beloved actor’s former co-stars spoke out in the wake of his devastating passing, including fellow “Cosby Show” alum Keshia Knight Pulliam.

“A week ago I lost my big brother, but I gained an angel…,” Knight Pulliam, who starred as Warner’s onscreen sister, wrote on Instagram on July 28. “I love you… I miss you… We got our girls.”

Warner’s mother, meanwhile, took to social media on Aug. 8 to break her silence on her son’s shocking death.

“For those of you who are at a loss, pained by the suddenness of his departure, ache for his presence or just to hear his voice one more time, to see his beatific smile one more time, be comforted that he was at peace and more importantly, he did not suffer,” Pamela Warner wrote.

“Malcolm was birthed through water and transitioned through water. This was his time,” she added. “His mission on earth had been completed.”
