The actress spoke about the importance of forgiveness in her first major interview since being released from prison. She did not, however, address the college admissions drama.
āI try to be a forgiving person. Iām not one to hold onto stuff. Stuff happens to everyone. Weāve all been in positions to ask for forgiveness but to ask for it, you have to learn and know how to give forgiveness, too,ā she toldĀ First for Women Magazine in April 2024.
āMy family wasnāt one to hold grudges. I didnāt grow up in a household where if you made a mistake, you werenāt forgiven,ā Loughlin continued. āNo one is perfect, we all make mistakes. So I was always told to let stuff go. And I think for your own health, you have to let things go because you canāt hang on to negativity. Lifeās too short.ā
She also revealed that āperseveringā is key to tackling lifeās ups and downs.
āAs an actress, I hear ānoā a lot, so I just have to be myself and persevere and try not to let in negativity,ā Loughlin explained in the interview.
āMy advice is to just keep moving forward. Everyone has good times and bad times. Thatās life. I think you just have to pick yourself up. Nobody said life was going to be a breeze. Thereās beauty in life, but thereās also hardship in life.ā
