Kevin Federline is worried about his ex-wife Britney Spears.

In his upcoming memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” Federline reportedly claimed that the “Toxic” singer would watch their two sons sleep while clutching a knife in her hand.

“They would awaken sometimes at night to find her standing silently in the doorway, watching them sleep — ’Oh, you’re awake?’ — with a knife in her hand,” Federline, 47, wrote in his new book, per an excerpt obtained Tuesday by The New York Times.

“Then she’d turn around and pad off without explanation,” he added.

Spears has previously posted videos of herself dancing with “fake” knives on social media, and her estranged sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, claimed in 2022 that the “…Baby One More Time” hitmaker once wielded a knife near her.

Federline and Spears, 43, married in 2004. Following their 2007 divorce, they engaged in an ugly custody battle over sons Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.

The “Womanizer” singer’s relationship with her sons has remained tense over the years. Nearly 15 years after Federline won full custody of Sean and Jayden in 2008, Jayden opened up about his fraught relationship with Spears.

“I 100% think this can be fixed,” he told Daily Mail in 2022. “It’s just going to take a lot of time and effort. I just want her to get better mentally.”

“When she gets better, I really want to see her again,” Jayden added at the time.

Federline revealed that Sean and Jayden “made the decision” not to attend Spears’ June 2022 wedding to Sam Asghari during the same interview, which the Grammy winner later reacted to in a fiery Instagram post.

“It saddens me to hear that my ex-husband has decided to discuss the relationship between me and my children,” she wrote in the since-deleted post.

“As we all know, raising teenage boys is never easy for anyone,” Spears continued. “It concerns me the reason is based on my Instagram. It was LONG before Instagram… I gave them everything… Only one word: HURTFUL.”

More recently, Spears shared a picture on social media of her reuniting with Jayden this past June.

Elsewhere in his bombshell new memoir, which is scheduled to release Tuesday, Oct. 21, Federline sounded the alarm about Spears’ current “situation” and warned that she is “racing toward something irreversible.”

“It’s become impossible to pretend everything’s OK,” he wrote, per the excerpt obtained by the Times. “From where I sit, the clock is ticking, and we’re getting close to the 11th hour.”

“Something bad is going to happen if things don’t change,” Federline, who now lives in Hawaii with his kids and wife Victoria Prince, added, “and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces.”

The former backup dancer further alleged that the “Free Britney” movement, which helped release the “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer from her 13-year conservatorship under dad Jamie Spears in 2021, harmed her more than it helped.

“All those people who put so much effort into that should now put the same energy into the ‘Save Britney’ movement,” he wrote. “Because this is no longer about freedom. It’s about survival.”

“Now, more than ever, [our children] need your support,” Federline continued. “I’ve been their buffer for years, but now it’s bigger than me. It’s time to sound the alarm.”

The Post has reached out to Spears’ rep for comment.
