Kelly Clarkson, Zac Efron to get stars on Hollywood Stroll of Popularity

LOS ANGELES (Reuters)– “American Idol” winner Kelly Clarkson, star Zac Efron and British star Benedict Cumberbatch are amongst celebs who will be getting a star on Hollywood’s Stroll of Popularity in 2021.

Shia LaBeouf, Missy Elliott and “American Pie” singer-songwriter Don McLean were likewise amongst the 35 stars of movie, tv and music revealed for the honor on Thursday by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, which administers the traveler destination.

The late Italian opera vocalist Luciano Pavarotti and Pulitzer Prize-winning “Fences” playwright August Wilson will be offered stars posthumously.

They will sign up with more than 2,600 celebs, consisting of Charlie Chaplin, Jennifer Aniston, Jimi Hendrix and rap artist Snoop Dogg, whose names are engraved on pink and bronze stars embedded on the pathway along Hollywood Boulevard in a custom that began in 1960.

Ceremonies revealing the stars on the Stroll of Popularity were suspended in mid-March since of the coronavirus pandemic. The unveilings that were delayed for 6 unnamed celebs will be rescheduled at a later date, authorities stated.
