Listeners may have had their eyes wide shut with this one.

Two months before Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s split, the country singer, 57, avoided answering questions about his marriage to the actress, 58.

While on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest” in July, Ryan Seacrest, 50, said that Nicole is “in everything.”

Urban teased back, “She’s almost as busy as you. Not quite, but very close.”

Kidman has been booked and busy in recent years, starring in multiple hit projects, including Netflix’s “A Family Affair” and “The Perfect Couple,” along with the erotic thriller, “Babygirl.”

The Oscar winner also filmed “Practical Magic 2,” the sequel to the 1998 rom-com, and is gearing up for Season 3 of HBO’s “Big Little Lies.”

Seacrest continued to gush over Kidman, to which Urban stayed silent and simply nodded his head.

The “American Idol” host also inquired how the artist and producer, who are parents to daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, navigate that work-life balance.

“It’s a job, yeah,” Urban stated. “Life is in session.”

Seacrest then went on to praise the musical icon for how he and Kidman have made time for one another over their 19-year union.

Urban’s only reply was: “Mhm, yeah.”

On Tuesday, Kidman filed for divorce from Urban. Court documents obtained by The Post revealed that she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Kidman listed the pair’s date of separation as “date of filing,” which was Sept. 30.

Meanwhile, in July, following their secret split, Urban abruptly ended a radio interview over an intimate question about his wife.

The Grammy winner was a guest on Australia’s Mix 102.3’s “Hayley & Max in the Morning” and seemingly left the call when hosts Hayley Pearson and Max Burford asked him about watching Kidman’s on-screen love scenes.

“What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with beautiful younger men like Zac Efron having these beautiful loves scenes on TV and radio?” Burford inquired before he was met with silence.

“What just happened here?” Burford asked as a producer said, “He’s disconnected from Zoom.”

“I think his team hung up on us because they didn’t want us to ask that question,” the producer noted. “He’s gone, see you, Keith.”

Pearson said she believed they “upset” Urban because he “doesn’t like the personal stuff.”

However, a source later told People that Urban didn’t leave the phone call.

“Keith did not hang up, period,” the insider shared. “He doesn’t host his Zoom interviews. This is a complete nothingburger.”

The source claimed that Urban is a “very easygoing” interview subject and didn’t have an issue with the hosts’ question.

Urban, meanwhile, seemingly hinted at the separation during a recent concert.

While performing his song “The Fighter” featuring Carrie Underwood, which was inspired by his romance with Kidman, Urban changed one of the lyrics.

Instead of singing about his estranged wife, he referenced his “utility player,” Maggie Baugh, who was onstage with him.

The original lyric in the song is: “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter.”

But onstage, Urban sang: “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player.”

Baugh, 25, shared a clip of the moment on Sept. 26, three days before news of Urban and Kidman’s split hit. She captioned the video, “Did he just say that👀.”

In 2016, Urban posted a video of himself and Kidman in the car singing to “The Fighter.”

“Oh my god, I love this song!” the star gushed, as her then-partner replied, “Thank goodness.” Urban continued to serenade Kidman before the pair embraced in a hug.

Meanwhile, new details have continued to emerge following their split.

Kidman and Urban, who tied the knot in 2006, reportedly separated in June and have been living apart ever since.

Sources alleged that the actress “feels very betrayed” by her estranged husband, who has allegedly moved out of their family home in Nashville and is already rumored to be seeing another woman.

“Nicole’s hurt and feels betrayed,” a source told People. “It’s devastating to her. She’s shocked.”
