JoJo Siwa and her partner, Kath Ebbs, have split after Siwa realized she’s no longer a lesbian and got flirty with “Love Island UK” star Chris Hughes on the latest season of “Celebrity Big Brother UK.”
Ebbs, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, claimed in a since-deleted TikTok video Saturday that Siwa, 21, dumped her at the show’s afterparty.
“I flew across the world to support and be there and hold that person in whatever they would be experiencing, leaving such a wild experience,” Ebbs said. “Instead, I was dumped at the afterparty, with Chris in the next room. Which is f—ing crazy to say out loud.”
Ebbs claimed that the “Dance Moms” alum told her at the afterparty she has “confused feelings” and that “she had realized in the house that I wasn’t the person that [she] wanted to spend the foreseeable future with.”
“Which has honestly been … so shocking, that I feel kind of subhuman right now. I feel incredibly humiliated and I feel a bit embarrassed,” Ebbs added, calling the breakup “one of the most [crazy], intense, awful, horrific experiences I’ve ever probably gone through in my adult life.”
The content creator said they felt “betrayed” by Siwa’s “very hurtful” actions, referring to the pop star’s relationship with Hughes, 32, on the reality show.
“Everything [the viewers] saw transpire — the emotional cheating, the over-crossing of boundaries, and the questioning of our relationship on national TV — was not fabricated,” Ebbs stated.
“It took that person less than an hour to follow through,” Ebbs continued of Siwa. “In terms of Mr. Christopher, I don’t know. I have opinions, [but] I’m not gonna say them now. In terms of their relationship, that’s their journey, enjoy.”
“I don’t know what the future of this situation holds,” they added. “But, yeah. [It’s] pretty, pretty, pretty brutal.”
Ebbs and Siwa confirmed their relationship in January, three months before Siwa went into the “Celebrity Big Brother UK” house.
“I am so happy. I am in a very mature relationship, and it’s beautiful,” Siwa told People in March. “It’s taught me so much about life.It’s taught me so much about love and respect, and it’s a beautiful thing.”
During filming, Siwa engaged in flirty behavior with Hughes including cuddling in bed, kissing on the cheek and licking chocolate off his shorts.
Hughes defended his bond with Siwa during the season finale on Friday.
“We’re just messing around—we’re being kids,” the British reality star said. “JoJo was like a pure rock to me. She was someone I can have fun with.”
“From a friendship point of view, yeah, of course I love her,” he continued. “If I want to spend time with a person who makes me feel like I’m at home, makes me feel happy and forget that we’re filming a TV show, we’re having fun, I’ll do that—because that’s very normal. It was just a friendship, which is only going to get stronger.”
Siwa told Hughes during the episode, “Christopher, the love that I’ve gained for you in this building is insane. You’re a one-of-a-kind gentleman, somebody who is so easy to love, so easy to laugh with. I really, really believe you are a vital part of my life that I didn’t know I was missing.”
Siwa also came to a sudden realization about her sexuality inside the “Big Brother” house.
“I’ve always told myself I’m a lesbian, but I think you — I think being here, I’ve realized, ‘Oh no, I’m not a lesbian, I’m queer,’” she told “RuPaul’s Drag Race UK” alum Danny Beard.
“I think that’s really cool. I’m switching letters!” Siwa added, referring to the LGBTQIA+ community.
