John Goodman has suffered a hip injury while filming a new film alongside Tom Cruise.
TMZ reported Saturday that the incident occurred at Pinewood Studios, 18 miles outside of London, England.
A source said the 72-year-old star “fell” while on set, but clarified that he was not performing a stunt at the time.
Goodman is expected to make a full recovery, according to the source.
He is slated to resume shooting on the untitled new movie next week.
In addition to Goodman and Cruise, the project boasts a star-studded cast that includes Jesse Plemons, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sandra Hüller and Riz Ahmed.
IMDb says the flick, directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, is set for a 2026 release.
A plot synopsis reads: “The most powerful man in the world causes a disaster and embarks on a mission to prove that he is the savior of humanity.”
