Jennifer Lopez is back at work with her upcoming Netflix rom-com, “Office Romance,” amid rumors that she’s unhappy seeing photos of her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, with his ex-wife, Jennifer Garner.
“This is gonna be a fun one,” she captioned photos of herself laughing in what looks like the movie’s table read on Friday.
“Ted Lasso” star Brett Goldstein, who memorably played foul-mouthed soccer star Roy Kent, will co-star. He co-wrote the film with Joe Kelly.
“American Primeval” star Betty Gilpin is also in the cast.
On Thursday, a source told Page Six that Lopez, 55, is “not happy with constantly seeing photos” of Affleck with Garner.
Affleck and Garner, both 52, have been spending a lot of time together recently, prompting speculation that he “would love another chance” with her.
A source told Page Six that Affleck and Garner looking chummy were “salt in the wound” for J-Lo.
The “On the Floor” singer and Affleck divorced after two years of marriage earlier this year. Lopez filed for divorce in Aug. 2024.
This was their second high-profile split, after they were initially together from 2002 to 2004. They ended their engagement in 2004, and went on to marry and have kids with other people — Garner and Marc Anthony, respectfully.
Lopez and Affleck got back together in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022, before settling their divorce in January 2025, five months after Lopez filed.
In January, a source told Page Six that Affleck and Garner have been “spending more time together than ever” since he split from Lopez after two years of marriage.
Affleck shares kids Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with Garner while Lopez is mom to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max with ex-husband Anthony.
Affleck and Garner were married from 2005 to 2018, and they often support their kids at events and spend holidays together. Since Affleck’s divorce from Lopez and the LA fires, Affleck and the “Alias” star “have found themselves leaning on each other more than ever,” the insider said.
They were photographed looking close while shooting paintball guns at their son’s birthday party on Sunday.
The family celebrated Thanksgiving together, and Affleck was invited to celebrate Christmas at Garner’s home.
“They shared custody and were amicable when it came to situations involving their kids, but over the years they’ve really built a close friendship and are on the same page in a lot of ways,” the source noted.
Garner has been dating businessman John Miller since 2018.
A source told People that Affleck typically enjoys his time with Garner, but he seems “extra giddy lately, though, and much more affectionate.”
They recently took a family paintball outing in Los Angeles where Affleck was photographed hugging his ex-wife.
Lopez is “furious,” per Page Six, and the situation is “completely messing with her head,” the source said.
However, another source said that Affleck is “open” to the idea of getting back together with Garner, but the “feeling is not mutual.”
A second source said that Lopez is focusing on “Office Romance.”
“She has been fully concentrating on her life, her growth, and her happiness.”
“Office Romance” doesn’t have an announced premiere date yet.
