Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster are living it up in the Big Apple.
The “Deadpool & Wolverine” star, 56, was married to Deborra-Lee Furness for 27 years before they ended their union in 2023. Rumors have continued to swirl that Jackman possibly stepped out on his wife with his “Music Man” co-star, 49.
Now, sources are detailing Jackman and Foster’s alleged “lighthearted” and “joyful” relationship.
On Friday, an insider told Us Weekly that the alleged couple enjoys cozy dinners at New York restaurants, walks through Central Park and supporting one another in their careers and respective projects.
“They’re happier than ever,” the insider said, noting that both stars understand the demands of the industry.
Jackman admires Foster’s “immense talent, infectious positivity and grounded nature,” while she is fond of his “kindness, professionalism and ability to make others feel valued.”
The insider also claimed the pair’s connection is a “wonderful next chapter” for them.
Jackman and Foster — who was married to Ted Griffin for nearly a decade before she filed for divorce last month — are keen on keeping their relationship low-key so that their romance can “grow naturally” away from the public.
The insider called their relationship “a balance of playfulness and genuine admiration.”
The Post reached out to Jackman’s and Foster’s reps for comment.
The report comes on the heels of Furness, 68, seemingly reacting to news of the “Free Guy” star’s rumored romance with the “Younger” alum.
Furness liked a post from her private Instagram account of gossip blogger Tasha Lustig claiming that Jackman had “blindsided” her by “running off with” Foster, per Us Weekly.
British media personality Amanda de Cadenet also weighed in on the allegations, writing in a comment last month, “You are on point with this one. My beloved friend Deb is about to have her glow up any moment fyi!”
Sources claimed to Us Weekly that Jackman did have “an affair” with Foster while the two were on Broadway together.
“Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced,” the insider close to Foster claimed.
“A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap.”
The source added, “They are really happy now.”
Furness reportedly had “suspicions” about her longtime husband working with the actress.
Jackman and Foster appeared together in “The Music Man,” which ran on the Great White Way from December 2021 to January 2023.
Eight months later, Jackman and Furness announced the end of their 27-year marriage.
“Deborra-Lee had her suspicions when Hugh started working with Sutton,” a source told the Daily Mail earlier this month. “Their relationship is not a secret to her.”
Page Six reported last month that Foster filed for divorce from Griffin, with sources telling the outlet that she and Jackman are now officially an item.
“They are 100% together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together,” one insider stated. “They go out of their way to hide it, but it’s common knowledge.”
Furness, who has adopted children Oscar, 24, and Ava, 19, with Jackman, has yet to speak publicly about the end of her marriage, but the source told the Daily Mail that she “wants to be left out of this narrative.”
“She is not going to address this or speak against Hugh,” they said. “When they divorced, they agreed to keep everything that happened during their marriage private.”
The source noted that “Hugh still has tremendous respect for Deborra-Lee. They have kids and that is what is important to them both. They are repairing what they can, and will never talk ill about each other.”
Jackman and Furness tied the knot in 1996 and released a joint statement about their separation in September 2023.
“We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,” the former flames told People at the time.
“Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth. Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.”
