This wasn’t on our bingo card.

Ed O’Neill turned heads during a surprise appearance on his daughter Claire’s TikTok.

The video – which was posted Monday, March 24, and garnered nearly 10 million likes by Wednesday afternoon – showed the “Married… with Children” star rocking his head as he and his daughter mouthed the words to Tupac Shakur’s 1996 epic diss track “Hit ‘Em Up.”

Ed O’Neill made a surprise appearance in his daughter Claire’s TikTok video this week.
The “Married… With Children” and “Modern Family” star sang Tupac Shakur’s 1996 track “Hit ‘Em Up” with his daughter in the TikTok video.

“I ain’t got no motherf–kin’ friends,” Claire lip-synched before her famous dad stepped in.

“That’s why I f–ked yo bitch, you fat motherf–ker,” O’Neill, 78, added after stepping into the frame.

The beloved “Modern Family” actor’s daughter could not help but hold back laughter during the eight-second clip. She also captioned the video, “This was his idea.”

Meanwhile, Claire’s nearly 140K followers – and some of her father’s former co-stars – rushed to the comments section of the short TikTok video to applaud the pair’s Tupac rendition.

“I AM SCREAMINGGGGGG,” Sarah Hyland, who starred with O’Neill on “Modern Family,” wrote.

“This is amazing,” fellow “Modern Family” alum Ariel Winter added.

While many fans and followers complimented O’Neill and his daughter’s performance, others missed the point completely and began arguing about which of the actor’s two most famous TV characters was better.

“He taught me love and marriage go together like a horse and carriage,” wrote one “Married… with Children” fan. “His modern family is great, but his past life with Peggy was a tier.”

“If you called that man Jay from Modern Family, then I need you to go stand in a corner because he was Al Bundy from married with children first,” added another.

Other fans argued which of O’Neill’s most popular roles was a better TV character: Al Bundy or Jay Pritchett.

“Amount of people calling him Jay instead of Al Bundy makes me feel so old lol,” shared another O’Neill fan.

“Absolutely NO ONE saw this coming,” joked a fourth.

At least one additional person commented on the fact that one of O’Neill’s children in real life shares the same name as his TV daughter on “Modern Family.”

“YOURE TELLING ME HE REALLY HAS A CHILD NAMED CLAIRE?!” they wrote.

Besides Claire, O’Neill is also dad to older daughter Sophia with his actress wife, Catherine Rusoff.

O’Neill and his daughter’s entertaining TikTok video comes months after the actor reunited with his “Married… with Children” daughter, Christina Applegate, for an episode of her “MeSsy” podcast.

Applegate, whose podcast often focuses on her ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis, gushed over O’Neill at the time.

“I don’t even know how to explain this person,” Applegate, 53, said in August. “He raised me, so if you don’t like anything about me, it’s his fault.”

“Years, years of my life spent with this man and he’s an incredible actor,” she added, “he’s an incredible human being.”

O’Neill then told Applegate’s co-host, Jamie-Lynn Sigler, that the actress was “a pro” on the popular sitcom.

“It was great to work with her,” he said. “It’s hilarious. It was always fun to work with Christina.”
