David Beckham is making the first move.
The retired English football star appeared to extend an olive branch to his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, 26, as rumors continue to swirl about their family’s nasty feud.
The public rift, which started after the pro photographer and his wife, Nicola Peltz, failed to attend David’s 50th birthday bash in May, has only appeared to worsen in the past several months.
David seemed to wave the white flag, though, when he liked one of his son’s Instagram reels, signaling that a family reunion might soon be on the horizon.
In the video, Brooklyn is seen smiling as he holds up his two adorable dogs before teaching his followers how to make spaghetti carbonara.
The cook enthusiast had to improvise during the cooking session, but he didn’t break a sweat despite not having his one ideal ingredient.
While Brooklyn appeared solo in the clip, his wedding ring was on display.
His post garnered more than 14,000 likes, including one from his famous father. Many of his followers even noted David in the comment section of the reel.
“You look like your dad Brooklyn 😊😘,” one person replied. “He’s mini David naturally,” wrote another.
Others weighed in on the monthslong family spat.
“Go and make up with your parents. Who brought you into the world,” one commenter stated. “Ring your dad,” instructed a second person.
It appears that David is taking a page out of his wife, Spice Girl-turned-fashion icon Victoria Beckham’s playbook, as the clothing designer also recently liked one of Brooklyn’s posts.
The olive branches come following Brooklyn renewing his vows with Peltz last week after three years of marriage, with neither David nor Victoria in attendance.
The pair married in 2022, but what was supposed to be his bride’s perfect day turned into a nightmare, with Victoria, 51, reportedly making Peltz cry by hijacking their first dance.
“The build-up to the wedding was horrendous,” an insider told Page Six at the time, claiming Peltz and her mother-in-law couldn’t “stand each other.”
The move is what allegedly sparked the family fallout, which worsened when Brooklyn’s sibling Romeo, 22, started dating his older brother’s rumored ex, Kim Turnbull. She later refuted the claims that she was involved with either brother.
But the alleged relationship ignited mayhem within the Beckham brood.
Brooklyn and Peltz made headlines when they failed to attend David’s star-studded 50th birthday party in London in May after allegedly refusing to be in the same room with Romeo and Turnbull.
Insiders claimed that his older brother’s disapproval of their relationship left “too much pressure and tension looming over them.”
Romeo and Turnbull were said to have split in June. “It was unfortunate that it got to that point, but family comes first for Romeo,” a source told Us Weekly.
David and Victoria — who share four children: sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz, 20, and daughter Harper, 14 — were “hopeful” that the breakup would reunite their family, but it only seemed to distance them.
Last month, it was reported that Brooklyn, Peltz, Romeo and Cruz Beckham all unfollowed each other on Instagram.
“Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t purposely unfollow the siblings,” an insider told Page Six, suggesting that the brothers might have blocked them.
“Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he’s not responding to those that try to connect,” another source claimed.
Victoria, meanwhile, is reportedly hoping her sons put down their swords by December, with insiders alleging she’s “very worried” the family feud will “ruin” her annual holiday card.
