Tyler Henry has shared a shocking health update.
The 29-year-old celebrity medium took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 14, to reveal that he underwent surgery to remove part of a colloid tumor growing near the center of his brain.
“Brain surgery was a success!” the “Hollywood Medium” star wrote alongside a picture of himself smiling in a hospital with a bandage on his head. “Great prognosis, incredible staff, and I feel so thankful to be surrounded by my family.”
Henry added that he will be on bed rest for a month and will continue doing his famous psychic readings once fully recovered.
“For those curious,” he explained to his 1.2 million followers, “I had a colloid tumor near the center of my brain and thankfully most of it has been removed! (The tumor, not my brain… that is.)”
“This isn’t my first rodeo with this and I have so much to be thankful for,” he continued. “I’ll see ya’ll very soon with lots of thought-provoking subjects and of course, readings. Thank you all so much for your support.”
This isn’t the first time the “Life After Death” clairvoyant underwent brain surgery.
In August 2018, via another Instagram post, Henry revealed that he received a similar surgery shortly after his 18th birthday.
“This photo was taken a month after my 18th birthday in the backyard of my childhood home,” he wrote at the time. “Only a week later an MRI revealed a congenital brain cyst that lead to emergency surgery after weeks of headaches.”
“A mass I was born with was only now causing a life-threatening situation as my adult life was just beginning,” Henry said. “Without the inevitable brain surgery that ensued, I don’t think I would of had such a firsthand awareness of the fragility of life.”
In October 2024, during an interview with The Cut, the Hollywood medium suggested that the congenital brain cyst was possibly related to his psychic powers.
“I have wondered if it relates to my ability at all,” he told the outlet.
“I’m here for a good time,” Henry later added, “not necessarily here for a long time.”
Meanwhile, the “Live From the Other Side” star’s latest health scare came just one week after he married his longtime partner, Clint Godwin.
“Today, we are married!” Henry wrote on Instagram after the couple’s marriage in Beverly Hills on May 7. “Life with you is an endless sleepover with my best friend and life’s just getting started.”
“I knew when we met nearly a decade ago that you would be the one, and that conviction only grew stronger with every day” he added of the musician. “Best premonition ever!”
Besides his own shows on E! and Netflix, Henry also appeared on Season 11 of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” in 2015. He met with Kim, Khloe and Kourtney and helped the famous sisters connect with their late father, Robert Kardashian.
Other celebrities Henry has worked with include Ricki Lake, Amber Rose, Corey Feldman, Carmen Electra, Chad Michael Murray and Megan Fox.
