Jocelyn Wildenstein’s final resting place has been revealed.

The eccentric New York socialite, commonly referred to as the “Catwoman,” will be cremated, and her remains will be sent to Africa following her death on Dec. 31, according to TMZ.

Wildenstein’s fiancé, Lloyd Klein, told the outlet that she will be remembered at a private funeral in Paris before being cremated.

Her ashes will then be brought to her ranch in Kenya.

Wildenstein will be close to her family in the afterlife. Klein shared that her mother’s ashes are at the ranch, and her father was also buried there.

The headline-grabbing former billionaire died in a Parisian palace at the age of 84, her fiancé confirmed.

Klein disclosed that she passed away from a pulmonary embolism.

A pulmonary embolism is a blood clot that blocks and stops blood flow to an artery in a lung, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Wildenstein reportedly loved Kenya, so the decision appeared to be a no-brainer for her fiancé about where she should end up.

Klein revealed he’s still in shock about losing the love of his life suddenly. He told the outlet that they had laid down for a nap in Paris and that she had never woken up.

“She was my love, my friend, and my soul mate for 21 years,” Klein stated.

Wildenstein’s lover revealed more grisly details about her final moments in an interview with People published last week.

“We had a nice happy hour the same night, and we were getting ready for the new year,” he explained. “We took a little nap just to look good before getting dressed.”

He went on to share, “We were having a nap and when I wake up, I said, ‘Jocelyn, we have to wake up, we have to get dressed,’ and she was cold and she was dead.”

However, he claimed her health was “perfect” in the days before her sudden passing.

“It’s very sad. It’s extremely sad,” Klein said about Wildenstein’s passing. “It’s extremely sad to lay down with your other half that I know for 21 years and waiting to celebrate New Year’s Eve and to find her cold.”

The fashion designer shared that Wildenstein suffered from phlebitis, a condition that WebMD defines as the inflammation of a vein that causes pain and irritation and may block blood flow in the veins.

“Because of her phlebitis, the legs were very, very swollen, and the blood was blocked, and there was no oxygen in the brain,” he said.

However, Klein alleged her health was “perfect” in the days before her sudden passing.

“We were at the Ritz two days ago. We were having dinner,” he told People. “Before that, we had come for Fashion Week at Chanel. Everything was good, everything was good.”

Before her relationship with Klein, she was married to wealthy art collector Alec Wildenstein from 1978 to 1999.

Their divorce made her one of the wealthiest people in the world after she received a $2.5 billion settlement. The former Mrs. Wildenstein was also awarded $100 million more in annual payments from Alec for 13 years.

However, she filed for bankruptcy in 2018 in New York. Wildenstein is survived by her two children —daughter Diane and son Alec Jr.

Her ex-husband died in 2008 at the age of 67.
