A more significant meaning this year!
Kate Middleton looked healthy and like she was in the holiday spirit when she arrived to host the fourth annualΒ βTogether at ChristmasβΒ service on Friday after undergoing chemotherapy and coming out the other side cancer-free.
The Princess of Wales, 42, appeared cheery at Westminster Abbey in London for the holiday concert, seemingly proving this holiday season carries more weight following her health battle.
Middleton even got there early without her family to greet the volunteers, reported People.
The princess turned heads in a long red coat with an oversized black velvet bow at the collar. Middleton accessorized her festive look with pearl drop earrings and tall black boots.
Prince William later arrived with their three children βΒ sons Prince George, 11, and Prince Louis, 6, and daughter Princess Charlotte, 9 βΒ and was greeted by Middleton outside. The family took a moment to look at the βKindness Tree,β where guests dedicate a decoration to someone who has been a source of support in their lives, before taking their seats inside the ceremony.
William and his sons matched in black suits with white shirts and red ties while Princess Charlotte took a page from her momβs fashion book, wearing a long, burgundy coat.
The Christmas Carol Service marked Middletonβs second appearance this week and a step forward in her return to royal duties following her cancer treatment that began in February. The princess joined her husband to welcome the Emir of Qatar and his wife on Tuesday as Queen CamillaΒ recovers from a chest infection.
Middleton revealed she was cancer-free in Sept.
βI cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment,β the Princess of Wales shared in a statement on X in Sept.
βDoing what I can to stay cancer free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes.β
The Christmas service includes performances by young musicians, a 25-piece steel pan band, and a jazz ensemble from Restore the Music, a nonprofit organization supporting music education for the youth. Guests will also be treated to readings with themes of love and empathy delivered by Prince William.
The Christmas carol concert is filmed and will air on Christmas Eve.
This event comes one week after The Post exclusively revealed how Kate and William will celebrate the holiday this year.
