It’s “I do” déjà vu.
Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and Nicola Peltz, 30, have renewed their wedding vows just three years after tying the knot — and as the infamous Beckham family feud continues.
“The event is about honoring the love and commitment they’ve built together over the years, and creating a memory that will stay with them forever,” a source told People after the ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 2.
Brooklyn and Peltz announced their engagement in July 2020 after seven months of dating, and they married two years later in a lavish ceremony at Peltz’s family estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
But while the couple’s wedding day should have been a happy one, it seemed to mark the beginning of the family’s rift when Victoria Beckham, 51, allegedly made Peltz cry by hijacking the newly married couple’s first dance.
Then, Brooklyn and his sibling, Romeo, reportedly butted heads earlier this year after the younger Beckham brother began dating Kim Turnbull, Brooklyn’s rumored ex.
Brooklyn and Peltz allegedly refused to attend David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in London in May because they didn’t want to be in the same room as Romeo and Turnbull.
Romeo and Turnbull ultimately broke up back in June, and insiders claimed that the pair split due to the Beckham family drama and the “strain” it caused their relationship.
“Romeo and Kim did split because of the family drama,” a source told Us Weekly in June. “It was mutual. It was just too much pressure and tension looming over them.”
“It put a lot of strain on them, and there was no path forward,” the source added. “It was unfortunate that it got to that point, but family comes first for Romeo.”
However, another insider insisted that Romeo and Turnbull’s split had nothing to do with the Beckham family drama.
“David and Victoria would hate for the view to be that they split because of Nicola and Brooklyn, because that simply isn’t the case,” the insider told Daily Mail. “The fact is that Kim has got a really busy career as a DJ and Romeo has a busy work life too.”
Although David and Victoria were said to be “hopeful” that Romeo’s split from Turnbull would bring the family back together, that doesn’t appear to be the case.
Page Six recently revealed that Brooklyn, Peltz, Romeo and Cruz Beckham have all unfollowed each other on Instagram.
While the couple still follows Brooklyn’s parents, a source claimed that “Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t purposely unfollow the siblings,” suggesting that the brothers possibly blocked them.
“Brooklyn told his family he wants no contact and he’s not responding to those that try to connect,” another source told Page Six.
Meanwhile, Victoria is said to be “very worried” that her family’s ongoing feud will “ruin” their annual holiday card.
As for Brooklyn, he appeared to double down on where he stands regarding the family rift in May in an Instagram post dedicated to his wife.
“My whole world,” he began. “I will love you forever. I always choose you baby.”
“You’re the most amazing person I know,” Brooklyn added. “Me and you forever baby.”
