“Boy Meets World” actress Trina McGee is revealing how she prepared her body for her fourth pregnancy.

The 54-year-old actress, known for playing Angela Moore on the hit ABC sitcom, told Entertainment Tonight that she and her husband, Marcello Thedford, were taking a holistic and organic approach to getting pregnant while she was a year into menopause.

“I have been saying I wanted to have a baby with my current husband of 16 years for quite a while,” McGee told ET.

The couple tried to conceive without intervention and considered using IVF, but decided against it.

They instead sought out and worked with the Garifuna people in Belize (where Thedford has a “cultural background,” McGee said) and started taking supplements.

McGee also gives credit to a low-stress environment for helping reverse early menopause signs.

“The No. 1 thing for me is to not partake in any stress and stay away from negativity as much as I can, and that pertains to what I put on TV, what I look at on my phone,” she said. “There’s so much drama and violence and negativity out there as soon as you turn on the screen. I really want to be pointed when I turn on the screen — what I’m watching. Because stress, for me, is the biggest factor.”

McGee explained that with natural remedies, she was able to reverse the early signs of menopause to help her become pregnant.

Her “Boy Meets World” co-star Maitland Ward told TMZ that she remembered McGee being pregnant with her first three children while filming the show. However, she hopes McGee’s fourth pregnancy isn’t a “publicity stunt.”

“Wow! I have to say, I hate to say it, but my first thought was, is this April Fools’ Day? I hope that it’s not like a publicity stunt or anything. I hope not,” the 47-year-old told the outlet.

“I have not seen any verification or any information. I would think in the first days she’s trying to be safe and everything. So I give her her space and all of that,” she continued. “I hope that as it goes along she would show us her journey because that’s a pretty big deal. That would help a lot of women and women with infertility issues.”

Ward joined the sitcom in 1998 and played Rachel McGuire.

“Trina and I have always had a great relationship,” she told TMZ. “And she’s always been supportive of me and I’m supportive of her [and this] pregnancy.”

Other co-stars from “Boy Meets World” congratulated McGee on her pregnancy, including Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga Lawrence on the hit show.

“Well, funny enough, I did [talk with them] before I announced it,” McGee told ET. “I happened to be on a little business call with Danielle … and we were all texting and I said, ‘By the way, you know, I’m pretty sure I’m pregnant,’ and they were so kind and so happy.”

McGee, for her part, is also elated.

“Sheer joy. And I don’t partake in any of the negativity anybody has to say about it. I am so happy. I have been blessed and that’s it,” McGee told ET. “And all I’m concerned about — I only have one job now — is to have this baby, and that’s what I’m about.”

McGee has two kids with her ex-husband, Courtland Davis, and another child from a previous relationship. Her fourth child will be her first child with Thedford. He is a father to a son from a previous relationship.

While McGee is taking a step away from social media during her pregnancy, she did share her news via Instagram on Monday.

The actress shared the news of her pregnancy with her fans on Instagram on Monday.

“Please bless us with your prayers for a safe delivery. Thank you,” she wrote in the post.

The “Classmates” actress is considering reaching out to celebrities who have had children in their 50s.

“You know what, I think I’m going to have to. I never thought of that. But I think I will slide into those DMs,” she said. McGee shared that Janet Jackson, who welcomed her first child at the age of 50, would be the first person she would reach out to for advice on being an older mom while having a career.

McGee says that others’ opinions should not matter when couples want to expand their families.

“It’s an individual decision, but be realistic about it. Be realistic about your lifespan — make provisions,” she said. “And understand that when you do have a baby at this age, what you should have for them is a lot of wisdom — and that’s the beauty of the situation.”

When asked if she and her husband would try again for another baby, McGee said: “If the ‘most high’ allows me to have a sibling with [this baby], yes, I would do that, I would.”
