It was a family affair!

Pop icon Beyoncé brought out her daughter Blue Ivy during her Christmas Day halftime performance, but her husband Jay-Z didn’t appear in the show — in the wake of his legal battle.

The Roc Nation founder, 55, wasn’t seen on screen at all during the lively performance at NRG Stadium in Houston on Wednesday, Dec. 25 as the Texas battled the Boston Ravens.

Wearing a one-piece white body suit and a cowgirl hat, the superstar belted out her hits alongside Post Malone and Shaboozey, just weeks after her husband, real name Shawn Carter, was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with Sean “Diddy” Combs at an afterparty following the Video Music Awards in 2000.

Jay-Z denied the “heinous” allegations, calling the lawsuit a “blackmail attempt.”

The NFL — which entered into a partnership with Roc Nation in 2019 for the company to be the league’s “live music entertainment strategist” — is sticking by him amid the scandal.

“We are aware of the civil allegations and Jay Z’s really strong response to that,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said at a news conference on Dec. 11. “We know, obviously, that litigation is happening. But from our standpoint, our relationship is not changing with them, including our preparations for the next Super Bowl.”

Since the partnership, Jay-Z’s record label has annually produced the Super Bowl halftime show, which includes Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming performance on February 9, 2025 in New Orleans.

The “Empire State of Mind” rapper broke cover just one day after the lawsuit — initially filed against Diddy in October — was amended to include him.

On Dec. 9, Jay-Z stood alongside his family with his head held high at the premiere of Disney’s “Mufasa: The Lion King” at the famed Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The music mogul smiled as if he was unfazed by the accusations while posing on the carpet with Beyoncé, who voices Nala, and their oldest daughter, Blue Ivy, 12, who plays the voice of lioness cub Kiara.

Jay-Z’s mother-in-law, Tina Knowles, was also by his side at the premiere after claiming she had been “hacked” when a post that appeared to show she liked a story about the allegations against him went viral.

In the recently amended lawsuit filed in New York on Dec. 8, a female only identified as “Jane Doe” claimed the rappers took turns assaulting her at an afterparty following the 2000 VMAs as an unnamed female celebrity watched. The woman claimed she was only 13 years old when the alleged assault took place.

Jay-Z denied the accusations almost immediately, putting out a statement that his “only heartbreak is for my family.”

Besides Blue Ivy, he and Beyoncé share twins Rumi and Sir, 7.

“My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of young people,” his statement, posted on Roc Nation’s X account (formerly Twitter), read in part.
