Caught red-handed?
Austin Butler, 34, and Zoë Kravitz, 36, appeared to get closer than ever on Thursday night following the Paris, France, premiere of their new movie, “Caught Stealing.”
The “Elvis” star and “Batman” actress were spotted drinking and enjoying a late-night outing at the popular local hotspot Dragon, as seen in a video obtained by Daily Mail, before embracing in a tight hug that seemed to linger.
An insider close to the pair, meanwhile, told the outlet that “there’s definitely chemistry” between Butler and Kravitz as the co-stars continue to fuel romance rumors.
“They’re loving spending time together promoting the movie,” the source claimed. “It’s not quite a fully fledged romance, but Austin hasn’t been friend-zoned either.”
“Working together on the film was intense as the director Darren Aronofsky is known for pushing his actors,” they added. “Promoting it and getting to spend time together without that pressure has been the reward for them both.”
“Austin thinks Zoë is cool and hilarious,” the insider concluded. “His pals would not be surprised if something progressed.”
Butler, who recently ended things with model Kaia Gerber, and Kravitz, who called off her engagement to Channing Tatum in 2024, first sparked romance rumors when they were seen kissing on the set of “Caught Stealing” in October.
At the time, a source close to Kravitz told Page Six that the actress and her co-star’s alleged relationship was “nothing serious.”
“With Austin, it’s an opportunity to have fun, keep her mind off things right now,” the insider shared. “I’m sure she’s not the happiest with what happened; it’s a good way for her to have fun and hang out. Who wouldn’t be interested in Zoë?”
“She is gaining the clout that can definitely help someone’s career,” they continued. “He’s the ‘it’ guy in Hollywood, she’s the ‘it’ girl. I’m sure he’s not opposed to the attention.”
However, the pair only fueled the rumors further on Thursday when they shared an intimate moment at the premiere of “Caught Stealing” in the City of Light.
After stopping and gazing into each other’s eyes while posing for pictures on the red carpet, Kravitz and Butler smiled at one another as if the cameras weren’t even there.
Shortly before that intimate interaction, Butler saved Kravitz from a rogue bee at the London premiere of their movie on Tuesday.
The pair was also spotted taking in an immersive show in New York City last month before reportedly heading out into the night afterwards.
“Caught Stealing,” directed by Darren Aronofsky, hits theaters Aug. 29.
Butler stars in the film as Hank, a former baseball star turned bartender who finds himself caught up in the criminal world of 1990s New York City.
Kravitz, meanwhile, plays Yvonne, Butler’s on-screen love interest.
