Angelina Jolie is stepping up to help her friends who have been evacuated from their homes due to the deadly LA fires.

The “Maria” star, 49, was spotted with her 16-year-old son Knox, whom she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt, outside a grocery store this week in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles stocking up on bottled water and other supplies, which they loaded into the trunk of a black sedan.

In a video obtained by Daily Mail, Jolie shared that she is housing and taking care of people “close” to her as the blazes continue to rip through communities across Los Angeles.

“We’re having people at our house,” the Oscar winner said when asked if she was concerned about the fires.

As for whether she has donated toward any organizations or funds offering relief to those affected by the fires, Jolie said, “Yeah, I will. Right now, I’m taking care of people close to me and having them at my house.”

Prior to the LA fires breaking out on Tuesday, Jolie stepped out at Sunday’s Golden Globes. She was nominated for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture – drama for “Maria.”

The actress made headlines last month when she reached a divorce settlement with Pitt, 61, after a contentious eight-year legal battle.

“Beverly Hills, 90210” actress Jennie Garth, 52, was given shelter by her ex-husband Peter Facinelli, with whom she shares three daughters after fires threatened her Pacific Palisades home.
