Wedding bells will soon be ringing.
Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have announced their engagement three years after getting booted from “GMA3” due to their romantic relationship.
“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach, 52, shared on the Tuesday, Oct. 14 episode of their “Amy & TJ” podcast.
“We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship,” Holmes, 48, added.
Holmes further revealed that Robach has been wearing her engagement ring in “crowds of tens of thousands” of people and “in everyone’s face,” yet “nobody said a word.”
“I was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, and kept waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, ‘Hey, what’s that?’ And it never happened,” Robach laughed.
She went on to speculate that onlookers, as well as their own loved ones, were being “polite” and understood “what [they’ve] been through” and didn’t “want to pry.”
“We haven’t been keeping it a secret, but nobody asked!” Robach’s new fiancé added.
But Holmes warned fans against listening to “made-up” rumors about their proposal and suggested he and Robach would share details about their special engagement moment in the future.
The now-engaged couple first made waves in November 2022 when they were photographed getting cozy while still married to their respective spouses, Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue.
Despite denying they were having an affair, the pair were fired from the popular ABC News morning show following an internal investigation into the matter.
“We lost the jobs we love because we love each other,” Holmes said when the “Amy & T.J.” podcast debuted in December 2023.
Meanwhile, an insider told Us Weekly back in June that Holmes and Robach’s engagement had been “in the works for a while.”
Even more surprising was the source’s claim that Holmes and Robach plan to invite their exes, Fiebig and Shue, to the wedding. Fiebig, 47, and Shue, 58, are now said to be dating and reportedly moved in together earlier this year.
“How they got together is not traditional, so they want the engagement and wedding this time around to be their own style – modest and simple,” the insider told the outlet.
“They want to share their vows in front of the closest people who matter to them to demonstrate how much they love each other and are committed to each other,” the source added.
Although the former “GMA3” hosts sparked engagement rumors back in March, Robach previously insisted that she was in no hurry to marry Holmes.
Robach and Shue’s divorce was finalized in March 2023, while Holmes and Fiebig’s was settled that October.
“There is no urgency in the sense that I’m 51 years old. I don’t need to rush into anything,” Robach said on the “I Do, Part 2” podcast in Sept. 2024.
“I think I have rushed into everything in my life up until now,” she added at the time. “But, he knows I wanna get married, and I know he wants to get married.”
